TP shirts

I have one from that era, bet..something on the front which a misguided but well meaning family member bought me for my birthday. I don’t wear it…

I remember a bloke sitting opposite to me on the train going back for Freedom day against Southend.
I had to bite my tong several times when I heard him talking, all I could think was that I had given up watching my team and also a final at Wembley which would have been my lads first Pool game!
It's the only time I've never acknowledged another Pool fan on my travels😡

They might become seriously valuable in generations to come, in a kind of perverse way.
Like memorabilia from the Vichy period or Nazi memorabilia for those stranger types in society.
The History channel are planning 25 years worth of documentaries when they've finally ran out of Nazi stories, although 'Nazi Mega Sharks' was great.

In fairness, I'm a bit torn on the Nazi memorabilia one - bearing in mind here I'm an insufferable liberal, who couldn't be more removed from Nazi ideology just to be clear!! I am a serious history buff though and I was in an antique shop the other day, and they had a 1940's genuine Nazi red armband. I didn't buy it, mostly for fear of being considered a Nazi enthusiast by the shopkeeper, but the historical artefact element of it did appeal to me in the same way as the Chernobyl medal I bought a few years back does.

Dont think I'll ever be fascinated enough by late Oyston period Blackpool shirts though! :)
