The Parole Board have decided that she is eligible for release - Dominic Raaab has asked them to reconsider.

No great surprise in that. My first thought was "it's too soon", and was shocked when I saw that she has been detained since 2009. Time certainly flies. It still feels too soon though.

It was a 5 year minimum term, on an Imprisonment for public protection sentence, she was initially released in 2013, but recalled in 2015, so the extra 7 years is substantial.

Without wishing to minimize the original case, it's not clear to me what threat she presents to the public or why that could not be managed in other ways.

Stake, tied to it, petrol doused and a lit swan vesta thrown on her 👍

Yep - defo other ways!

...which implies - you don't think what she did was really bad!!

WOW 😔

Correction, the court thought that, and the sentence her partner received was over twice as long (as well as life imprisonment for raping a 2 year old girl).

So what would you do to him?

She was actually let out on licence in 2013 but recalled 2 years later for breaching parole conditions😳.
Shes 39, still of a child bearing age. God forbid that that could ever be allowed to happen.

‘Baby P’ would be on the cusp of manhood now. Some things can never be forgotten or forgiven and she should never be released in my opinion.

Which costs more - incarceration or social support for her in the community (assuming she struggles with her history to gain decent employment)?
