Morning all Seasiders,My 18 year old is at a festival Saturday in Manchester and staying that night, he has got a ticket for the game but is trying to get himself to Wembley Sunday morning ,just a long shot any body know of any coaches etc going from Manchester ? Cheers all UTP

Living in Stockport this seemed the first option but note the timetable has been affected by engineering works and therefore you need to factor this in and there are fewer trains than previously running.
I have decided to drive down but park up at Beaconsfield and then take the train into Wembley Stadium station.Did this for the Cardiff final.Hope to set off before 7 30( at this time of year waking up is difficult as the daylight does that),
Might have to miss the first available trains post match but would still hope to be back on the road no later than 6 40.Alternative is on to either Uxbridge or Stanmore for the tube but the latter will be probably where the Lincoln fans aim for.
Will miss the wife’s company for the first time for the play off finals even if she spends most of the journey asleep so it’s Billy no mates and Boom Radio.
In normal circumstances I would offer a lift but these are still not normal circumstances and the Mrs would be worried about me car sharing.

Thanks for advice, enjoy your drive, utp

Stockport to London Euston has not been affected.
Loads of direct trains
All taking a lot longer time due to the engineering works.
...and there is no train into Stockport from Cheadle Hulme until 9 32 ( unless I go via Wilmslow and come back on myself)
This gets into Stockport at 9 36 when surprise surprise the “London Euston “ link departs at 9 36( perfect coordination...not) and that is cross country and I need to change at Stafford with less than 10 minutes between the london train from there.
Of course i could drive to Stockport Station and park up or even take the 313 bus if there is one but that takes over half an hour to the station😉😳.
For those travelling from Picadilly there are trains but bear in my mind the last realistic is probably at 10 14 which arrives ( if on time) at 13 18 and then there is still the dash to Wembley itself.
Anyway I have now booked parking( RingGo) and the train ticket ( Chiltern Railways) for Beaconsfield so that’s that as they say.
However you get there folks have a safe journey and give it your all for the team🥳

For anyone getting the train, I recommend booking early as there are limited seats available and you won't be allowed to board if you don't have a reservation. I came very close to missing the game on Friday because of this as most trains were fully booked.

Flixbus have a service from Shudehill Interchange in Manchester at 7am Sunday morning arriving at London Finchley Road at 1125 am. That would be the best place to get off for Wembley rather than staying on to Victoria Coach Station. Can’t see any coaches back to Manchester leaving after 630:though.
