Tricky Trev featured in our latest podcast. He talked about his time at the Pool and what it was like working under the great Billy Ayre. Also discussed his time in the Premier League and playing for England in the 2002 world cup.

It's interesting to hear his viewpoint on coaching young players, which he's currently doing alongside Jamie Milligan, and what he thinks BFC should be doing at youth level.

Has Milli left Bamber Bridge?

He sounds like a ex England multimillionaire playboy footballer with a bit of a kind heart.

I remember him beating two Stockport defenders tight near the corner flag and laying on an inch perfect cross for Zico Bamber to score. Fantastic moment, but then the realisation kicked in that the sharks would soon be circling for him.

Had his issues and made mistakes, as humans often do, but I loved tricky trev, as a young fan in the early 90’s he was like a different species to most players we had or played against at the time! Possibly should have done even more given his talent.

Interesting to listen to that 9 months on.
From his personal perspective Sky now has a pro-contract and Kobe has a scholarship with the u/18s.
He rated Nathan Shaw but that hasn't worked out at BFC.
He clearly supports the need to develop Blackpool's academy.
I think he was still a bit uncertain about Critch but still wished him well because he says he's a Blackpool fan.
I've seen Trev a few times at Youth team games watching his boys. I'm looking to seeing Kobe this season who he thinks is the most naturally gifted of his 3 boys, football wise.
