Who on here is a true seasider; by which I mean who lives closer to the sea than Bloomfield Rd ?

I guestimate that that the ground is less that 5 minutes walk/ 500 metres from the sea.

Not me, but hopefully one day; this is not limited to the fylde coast?

Not me. Live nearer the Thames but I am sure a few n Fleetwood might actually live in the Sean their docked boats

50 metres from the sea...in North Ayrshire.
(during my 60 years in Blackpool I was never more than a mile or so from the sea...and at one time just 15 mins walk from Bloomfield Rd)

I live in Spain (and we've had this numerous times) as I said previously I thought it was in your heart 💓,nothing to do with were you live people on here know I am from Wolverhampton but always was a seasider (lived on the gold coast for thirty years )up the mighty tangerines👍.

Born and raised less than a kilometer from Blackpool beach. And i now live a minutes walk from my childhood home. Infact my mum and dad still lived there till 6 months ago
Blackpudlian through and through and proud.

Spent what feels like the majority of my childhood at my Nans on Falmouth road walking her massive dog around stadium and feeding the donkeys in the stables across from the illuminations depot. Used to play football with some friends under the ‘pub on stilts’ as I always knew it.

Born at Devonshire Rd Hospital, corner of Talbot Rd.
Lived in Platt St so about half a mile from the Prom.
After that, when 3 years old, we moved to Fleet St much nearer the Prom.

Born 200 yards or so from Stanley Park, now 3 miles from the sea at nearly the highest point in Brighton at 520 feet....was that a passing snow shower I just saw?

Sounds like you fulfil the criteria for honorary member of BASIL where Layton was the original town on the Fylde Coast, and of course the home of the first fans group where the original club played.

Anyway the OP asked for the nearest to the sea but at one time in Anchorsholme, the seas visited us!

Live around 15 mins walk at the mo in North Layton ie Bispham.

Born in Blackpool equidistant from the Tower and Bloomfield Road. One of my life partners born in Kent, often used to say to me and others "You can take the boy out of Blackpool but you can't take Blackpool out of the boy". I have lived close to the seaside for 98% of my life.
