Turned on Radio 5 in the car tonight and guess who was on...

When the presenter says he's a Preston fan.... he calls him out and says this is the issue and why he was getting stick off blackpool fans. Pretty funny actually.

No hate for the guy, a nice guy, always going to be tough with his pne connection and seen that way by many, plus his 1st stint here. Add in the poor results etc.

Just wasn't the right call and just didn't go well in any way really.

I couldn’t care less about Preston connection’s. It was his managing skills or seemingly lack of them & his demeanour that did it for me. Yes I know the first stint was under the scum. I thought at the time he stood up to them, but never wanted him back at all.
 
Tactically inept.
No charisma or character.
Will struggle to get another decent job.
Maybe radio interviews are his future?
Or sat in the stands at Deepdale?
 
The reason we should never have taken Larry back. Once a knobber always a knobber. No time for them. And he walked out on us the first time around after a bunch of bore draws. Total tool, National League North manager at the best is all he is.
