U19s Wednesday.

Far and away the best team. Created some good chances with 10 men.

Looking forward to the next game.

We played them off the park with 10 men.

A bit wasteful in front of goal; but we're in the next round.

Well done Blackpool!

No great opposition but we played well. Think 11 v 11 it could have been a bloodbath.

When will the next round be drawn?

To add to the above, I thought the no10 (Jake Daniels) was really good second half, especially considering he switched positions when Trusty went off. Had a bit of strength, used the ball well, and had a couple of terrific runs from deep.

Shot shy is not what the u19s are!

Very impressive performance. If anything, even better once down to ten men.

Well done again. We were well drilled and inventive (especially at corners!). I couldn’t pick a ‘mom’ because they all played their part. Tayt’s sending off had no impact on the match for me but we may have won more easily if he’d stayed on. Onwards and upwards but we are almost certain to meet better next round.
The small crowd meant I could hear more of the bad language, sadly.
And, I couldn’t help looking at the pitch side advert for art patisserie. I suppose that’s Cheltenham for you.

I enjoyed that not just because we won but by the manner of the performance.Good work ethics, good slick passing not hoof football and that with 10 men for such a long period.
Thought our no.7 was outstanding but everyone of them looked comfortable on the ball.

It was also actually enjoyable to watch without commentary ,excluding some of the colourful language from their, well I think so,coaching staff.…and all credit to the smallest ballboy I have ever seen who did his job properly😉

post edit….and thought the camera coverage was excellent too.

I think it's really good that different posters have picked out different players as their MOM. That suggests to me that it was a good team performance.
Despite blotting his copybook, his limited minutes on the pitch and notwithstanding his reckless tackle, which is not typical of him, Tayt Trusty continues to impress me.
Get him on a pro- contract pdq.

Clear difference in class. We were pretty slick, good on the ball, dangerous going forward, well organised. Good performances throughout.

Another cracking win. Enjoyed watching that this evening. Both keepers made excellent save each. Score could easily have been more. Thought their goal was possibly a fluke. We nearly scored a brilliant team goal 2nd half with the 10… denied by a great save. 👏 👏

Enjoyed that. The young lads adapted very well to going a man down. Trusty looked good until he went off. Moore, Daniels, Francis probably the pick of the performers

I believe we are now into the last 16. The first and only team through to the fifth round. Colchester United beat Arsenal 3-0 in the third round. What kind of youth system are Arsenal running?!

Bromley and Rugby both reached the third round. Where they lost to Reading and Cheltenham.

Crewe, Colchester, Accy and Cambridge are the only sides outside the top 2 divisions still in the competition, with 31 teams still in it.

🤠

Been trying 2 find out when the 5th round draw is??
The last scheduled 4th round tie isn't until 19 Jan, so possibly later that week.
Thought JD had an excellent game last nght and worked extremely hard especially after Tayt's sending off when they moved him out wide.
Looks like he's back to full fitness. Am I right that he is still only 16?

DOB 8/1/2005. So yes, he'll be 17 in January.

Yes insi, 17 in Jan, yes they all put a real shift in. 👍

picked it up on youtube just before half time didnt realise we were a man down. There looked to be a class difference between the blackpool lads and cheltenham. Quite a performance, move the ball quickly with purpose, plety of energy, plenty of people in the box as they go forward. Some of the thngs we havent been seeing from the first team recently to be honest.

We don't have the class difference in the Championship though.
