Udders starting to recall players

Recalled a 19 year WB
Also loaning an attacking winger/midfielder
Looking like they are focusing on the areas they are actually having issues with.

It would be great to get news that we have signed him on an 18 month contact with a 1 year option, that would be the ideal scenario.
Be knocking 36 in the option year, with a good wind we will be championship by then. Agree 18 months though, 250k fee to allow them to pay off the rest of his contract.

I’m going out on a limb here and saying he’s not going back.

If he was why would they wait? They know who he is and what he can and can’t do. Why miss more games without him if they want him back?
I don’t think he will go either, think the other Jordan might be off though

Age catches up with all athletes & Jordan is no different. He's a good L1 striker but no longer a Championship player.
I would be very surprised if Hudders don't cash in while they can, and that would suit us just fine.

I've heard he's signing on a free, mutual agreement between both clubs

Personally I wouldn't sign him as he kinda limits how we play
So who would you sign Phil and for how much? Be a lot more than paying Rhodes contract off I hazard

It's a ridiculous question to be honest as I dont know what players are interested in coming to us

Personally I would like someone a bit more mobile so we can play different systems

It seems like Phil is just being antagonistic and awkward, but he has a point, kinda. My boss is a Rovers nut. When we signed Rhodes ha said he'd score goals but do nothing else. He maintains this view, and that a team coan be stronger without a greedy goalscorer, who doesn't do much else for the team. I guess the argument is that a less "focused" centre forward may score say 30% less goals, but would provide more support and assists. It's almost Madine in reverse! My personal view is that goals win games. So whatever the way to maximise our resources to score most goals is the way to go.
I'd also argue that Rhodes isn't a team player - I see him doing a lot of dirty work - he seems to relish playing alongside Beesley, and looks more threatening with Beesley alongside than anyone else.

I'm not being antagonistic at all

I was asked a question that's impossible to answer

I do agree with your point on Rhodes as well, he plays best in a front 2 and always has done through is career so it forces Critchleys hand into playing this 352 system

Isn't or is a team player?
If Isn't I'd argue. I've been pleasantly surprised the shift he puts in every game. Gets regularly clattered but soon back on his feet plus vocally encouraging to team mates.
Very much a team player in my eyes.

No immediate rush for Udders to recall JR, their next game is FA Cup on Sunday and he’s cup tied to us. They then have Plymouth on 13th followed by Blackburn & QPR before end of the month. All 3 of those massive games for Huddersfield. If he’s going back expect it to be before 13th.
Personally don’t think he’s going back, expect they will get what they can for him from us before contract end this summer and free up a wage.

It also inhibits Joseph from playing his natural position, so he's never getting a chance to show what he can do.
