Unbelievable Fantastic Support

Critch's words on Sadler and his support and so can we put all the nonsense to bed?
Also did say we had a couple which didn't quite cross the line for various reasons but delighted with the group we have.
Enjoying a nice bottle of lager tonight and looking forward to what this month has in store.

Doesn't fit in with some of the weird agendas some of our fans seem to have.

The experience in the ground and chants of Critchleys Tangerine Army are massively at odds with the posters on here calling for his head?

Maybe the majority of posters on here don’t actually go to the game and have an echo chamber of TTV and Facebook?
Pretty much, was a decent atmosphere and good reaction from T'North to a fisting from Critchley at the end.

South Stand support was brilliant today too. Acknowledged by all the players and Critchley at the end. What a difference a united support makes responding to an excellent team performance. Really pleased to hear the song for CJ completely turning around last Saturday's performance. Surely he was a MoM contender today? What a difference 7 days makes for us all. That's the standard set for the rest of the season right there. Everyone put in a shift #utmp

No, the issue was specifically Critch being wedded to a system that didn’t suit us. That was changed today, so a positive move from Critch, but also vindication of the criticism.

Nobody wants a change of manager, just for him to play a system that obviously suits us better.

Some on here wanted to change the manager. It's silly to deny it when the posts are there.

When Wigan equalised there were plenty round me blaming Critchley. Fine margins and the instant response killed the discontent at source.

To be honest, the nobhead running across the South, then bottling it as he realised he was about to get battered did us a big favour, as it stopped any chance of Wigan gaining momentum after their goal. Instead we regrouped and went again.

Leaving aside one fantastic reflex save from Grimshaw, they did very little with their possession, while Mr Tickle in goal for them made a number of good stops.

A deserved three points in the end.

I won't chant "Critchleys Tangerine Army" and I was at the match . He will only get chants from me when he gets us back to where he left us,in the championship and I think its sad that there are a large number of fans are lemmings and are so easily led.

I particularly enjoyed how he waited for the stewards before getting too close.

People around us were saying the same. A timely intervention.

That’s sad to read WOT. It almost like you’re a spurned lover?

He left us to make a shed load of cash in an easier role with potential massive upside. I’d have done the same and I’m a Tang Bastardo.

He’s manager now by all means grumble when we are down but no point holding some grudge and sulking

I think very very few wanted to see that 3-5-2 continue and I was thankful to see it scrapped. We looked a real handful and created so many golden chances. On another day Rhodes could have scored 4 goals.

Sadly the poll and the posts on here by many this week did state they wanted the manager replaced so early in the season. I just didn’t hear those words in or around the ground.

Think the atmosphere was one of the best for a long while. Absolute limbs at the end when that goal went in. Utterly fantastic we didn’t stop singing throughout.

Also - Wigan fans were crap I thought didn’t make any noise until their equaliser. Looked like about 3/4 of their lads pitch invaded and enjoying the cells currently. Not sure what that ** who ran on the pitch over to the family stand was trying to do.

I think he was looking for his Mummy….

All posters want the team to do well. We've been served up some ropey stuff this season so the frustration has shown. Give us something to smile about and the response will be instant, as we saw today.

I hold my hands up, after wasting a day of my life watching the crap that was served up at Lincoln, it was, at the time the straw that broke the camels back and I was one of the critics. But didn't suggest anyone should lose their jobs etc

After yesterdays magnificent performance which could have resulted in many more goals, had it not been for the fantastic performance by the Wigan keeper, Sam Tickle, and not forgetting Grimmy's performance for us, I'm now holding my hands up and praising the whole team and the coach for such a great performance in front of a very appreciative crowd. It was obvious that a number of players who have come in for some stick recently proved their worth and may this be the start of our run.

As the lad, Oliver Twist said, I want more sir!😌

I suppose I should now be wearing sack cloth 🤔

No matter what is posted on here or on social media whether rubbish or valid criticism the fans ALWAYS deliver on game day.

You go in feeling a bit subdued after a week of reading negativity and how crap we are some of which is justified then “ Come on the Pool “ gets going and everyone is back on it .

Superb.

Haha bloody hell what an attitude this is. Might as well just knock the support on the head altogether 'til we're good enough for you eh?

Wouldn't it be dull on here if everyone just agreed all the time!

The football we had been playing as a 352 was all wrong and he changed it yesterday, so credit ti to him for that, as I keep saying, we want a manager and team who will serve up entertaining football and yesterday was very entertaining so long may it continue. I am glad he changed it, he has the players for 442 but not for 3 at the back and wing backs.

The only thing everyone is going to agree on on here is that we want promotion. I don't like the verbal attacks on people just because they don't agree with what they say, counter it by all means, we will all change our minds about the club eleventy million times this season.

Here is the written piece that the op refers to, that was based off his post match I think.

"and Kyle Joseph. We brought in Kyle for a fee that I don't think anybody will have matched in this division, so we spent money at the top end of the pitch."

No grudge ,no sulks ,but I believe that the way he left us we deserve to be put back to where we were when he left . So when he has done that ,I will be fully behind him ,until then I wish him all the best this time around as when he wins Blackpool wins.

I am entitled to have my opinion and that is ,he has taken 4 games to realise his tactics needed changing. He walked out on us just after signing a 4 year contract that unbalanced the squad . He could not be arsed even mentioning the super support that he got from the fans when he went. Lastly the previous 4 games we played before the Wigan one are some of the worst entertainment I have witnessed in 50 years.

So I withhold my support until he does the right thing and gets us back to the championship . 1 game does not make a season , but I do hope he carries on winning to get there.

Tbh it’s only a tiny minority with the loudest mouths on here who call for change after 5 games, it’s a bit sad really.
It's this minority that take BFC more seriously then the others. They can be bothered writing their feelings about the club or the others would be writing their feelings about the club as well. I also think that most of the moaning was not getting rid of Critchley ,but hoping he would change his tactics to get better performances ,which he actually did .
