Uncle Richard

I imagine we're hoping in a couple of weeks it's Rhodes and Lavery.

And he'll not be daft enough to try to mark CJ, he'll no doubt have their quickest full back next to him to do that.

The fact he had scored should we not be on the pitch? I don’t remember for Blackpool being specified.

Had to laugh. In his rush to scramble it over the line, Mad Uncle Richard nuts the no.12 in the nose. Then when he’s getting up off the turf he bumps another player who shoulder barges the no.12 in the nose again. 😂🤣

If I was being critical, Beesley got off to a slow start, being caught in possession a couple of times, but grew into it and got better.
I was also disappointed he didn’t have the intelligence to check his run towards the end when CJ cut inside for the shot. He ran through to the back post, when he should have been looking to mop up any ‘spillage’.

Not seen a replay though, so I might have missed something 👍

You're just highlighting the difference in movement and box placement of Rhodes v Beesley. There's a reason why Jordan Rhodes has scored bucket loads of goals in his career. It isn't because he's rapid or huge. His intelligence and awareness is why. Might be good for Beesley to learn off of Rhodes.

yeah i commented on that at the game. He did get better as the game wore on and maybe there’s a decent player in there.

Yep I agree with that… A lot of people had slated the Rhodes signing, before he’s really kicked a ball.

His contribution to our attacking intent… from lay offs in the build up, through to positioning for the finishes, played a big part in the result / performance.

Beesley can hopefully take full advantage of his experience and improve his own game as a result.
