United Utilities being useless once again

Lancaster and Morecambe without water. Many places since Saturday night and no explanation?

Apparently it was cracked pipes affecting the renowned desert region of Lancaster and surround. With the main reservoir struggling to keep up with demand.

Fortunately the enormous dividends paid to shareholders have allowed those living in the Lancaster area to buy imported bottled water to drink and bathe

Need Geldof to write another song. These regions suffer terrible drought and UU doing their best.

They need to take United Utilities (and the likes of Arriva, British Gas, etc) out of public ownership and privatise them. Only private ownership can make them efficient and answerable to their customers.

Still no water in Morecambe. Been around 36 hours for us. Some are over 48 hours.
