Unthinkable but ..

This is my mind going in to that dark place but Critch leaves a good job, it seems Duff and Rosenior said no - are they making this a job which looks almost impossible?

I know Mansford said we had more money for the manager than last season but does that come with conditions that are making us unattractive.

Over-worrying (probably because of reading this forum!) but I really now hope whoever gets it speaks positively about what we have to offer here.

Na its a great chance for anyone to come in and manage a team in the championship, with really passionate fans and future projects like the TG and east on the horizon.

A great owner and setup who back their manager.

I don't see any issues.

Who has said no? Who has been interviewed? Where have you got your information from?

You clearly think you know something, so where’s your information from?

I only know what I know, not what I've been told by others. This is what I know;

5 people interviewed
3 England based
1 Scotland based
1 European based
3 preferred candidates
Now 1 preferred candidate
Tomorrow terms to be agreed/not agreed
Announcement if successful

Evening 👍🏻

Lottery numbers for Saturday?

I expect they will want to do the announcement before the weekend, so kind of narrows it down.
And if it isn’t, I won’t be fretting one bit.

We don’t know what’s happening, we’ve been led by movement in betting odds and so called, in the know journalists And therefore expected the appointment of Rosenior to be announced by now. I guess because of all this, it does feel as if the club is scrambling.

Agree. There have so many threads ranging from logical but speculative to outright hysteria. The reality is that no one on here is itk. I'm not itk either but I'm expecting a Rosienior appointment by the weekend. The intriguing thing is around Appleton - experienced No 2 perhaps or some other role within the Club?

Think we all need to stop worrying and trust in ben and simon to choose who they think is the best person for the job, sure it will be announced as soon as they have made there choice#utmp

That’s not a bad shout about Appleton as number 2, although I wouldn’t want him anywhere near the club, he could suck the fun out of Jerry Yates on the piss.

Are we in a frenzy for nothing. Mansford said 2 weeks ago the interviewing process would be diligent and thorough and not to expect a quick appointment.
So what has changed, its only journalists and betting exchanges that are jumping to conclusions.
Just chill and let the process run its course. UTMP

Hang on a cotton picking minute.

We do all the DD and spend weeks making sure things are as wanted (careful choice there), yet Villa decide on a wet Wednesday afternoon to go after the Quitbitch and hire him less than 8 working hours later.

Surely people don't flap as much in real life as they do about things on this message board.

I can't imagine how some must react if they forget the milk when they go to the shop.
I've found it quite amusing how some can't sit back and trust Sadler and the board to find the right man. I'd be pretty disappointed with some of the names floating about but then remember Mansford saying don't believe all you hear in the press/social media. It's a bit like the jumping to conclusions about Sadler's business/personal wealth. Whoever it is, will need us fans to be right behind the club, having a hissy fit because they didn't pick the Head Coach you wanted won't solve anything, it's going to be a tough season as it is and we need to keep as much positive momentum as possible.

I'd say this is 80% accurate but we all know something doesn't sit right with this story and guess we'll never know.

Blackpool FC news says Rosenior interviewed twice, Appleton three times, if that’s correct, unless they’re interviewing Rosenior again, it looks like Appleton for whatever reason. I was mildly excited by Rosenior, can’t say the same for Appleton.

I’m not excited by Appleton but i am interested to see what he can do with a supportive owner he speaks well about the game at the end of the day the players and owner need our support regardless of who is manager

It's possible and probable that were the one knocking these managers back after interviews.
Exactly. All this doom and gloom that they are rejecting us as we don't offer a desirable job prospect. Just remember all those basket case clubs out there in massive debt that they can't pay back. Derby included!

Where does it say that Mates ?

Or maybe Villa were lazy and went for the old pals act.

Remember Appleton‘s assistant? Seemed to have a couple of anger management ‘issues’? Had a complete eppy on GTF saying that he wasn’t really injured and that he would have played for Ollie?

Anyway, I really don’t want Appleton in charge… Christ in Heaven

You do realise that you'll never get anywhere in this life being so level headed...! 😂

Please god not Appleton.
He was shit the first time as manager.
Never go back look forward.
Rosinior would be good.
