Just caught the last ten minutes of today's GAVI summit. Boris Johnson pledged £764 Million from UK.The UK was already the Largest donor to GAVI Alliance.

Gavi raised 8.8 Billion dollars in total today from all the contributing nations.

Bill Gates owns GAVI.

$8.8 billion would go a bloody long way to stopping famine and water shortages around the world. Thing is, there is no investment return on donating money for good causes. Patenting a vaccine and selling it potentially 7 billion times would have a very healthy return for your work.

No sure what you mean? This money has been raised to develop a vaccine that will be sold worldwide ??? My point was you could use the cash to greater effect worldwide than trailing after a virus that BFC X3 rightfully said is disappearing.
