Only watched it thanks to your post as didn’t realise it was on so thanks for that.
I’m still not entirely convinced she “fell” into the water on her own, it’s all very strange if you ask me.
Absolutely awful for her family and friends though. Can’t believe it’s a year gone since she went missing.
I only live a couple of miles away from St Michael’s, can remember driving through at the time with people absolutely everywhere as if it was last week.
Very very sad.

The general verdict last night on social media was that we just saw another establishment cover up, sharing your view that she didn’t just fall in. She was a strong swimmer and the river was shallow and as calm as a mill pond that day (nothing like the flooded, swollen river depicted last night).

What did the post mortem reveal? The relatively calm river and her being a strong swimmer suggest that she was unconscious either before entering the river or when she hit the water? Did she enter the river to save the dog, because it is a bit odd her phone was letvon the bench?

After days of searching she suddenly turns up very close to, or even in, the search area.

Drove past there on the anniversary of her death. No flowers around, no nothing. No ‘TikToker’s’ live streaming. It appears a form of normality has returned to the village. Still a real tragedy and I feel for her partner and those poor kids. Not the outcome anyone wanted.
No mention on the documentary that she was found by a psychic who literally had to point where she was found to the Police.
No mention that a scream was heard by 2 witnesses.
The official line in the public enquiry has several inaccuracies, which don’t add up: there is no steep bank near the bench, the river wasn’t moving anywhere near the estimated 1 metre per second and to say she would be dead within 30 seconds is pushing reality. Also no mention that you can actually stand up near the edge.
Did I mention the puma?

Nicola’s death has been massive on YouTube over the last year. Literally thousands of videos on the case and potential links to drugs, animal trafficking and organised crime. I have always been surprised it’s not been higher profile on here, being very local. I am certain that it wasn’t an accidental death or suicide.
