VAR vote?

In view of quite a few complaints about VAR let's take a vote on VAR Yes & VAR No.
OK, there are advantages in VAR usage, but do they they outweigh the disadvantages?

I don't know how to do a voting type list, but there are plenty on here who are adept at that sort of thing.

Your complaint is about the laws of the game and their interpretation, not about VAR.
This is true, but you only have to look at the Macedonia penalty decision to think it's the VARs interpretation of the laws that sometimes leave you wondering.

I just wish they would change the rule for offside and not rule out a goal because his toe was offside.
Likewise when a ball hits a players arm in the penalty area without intention.
VAR has some uses but it is awful as it is.
The issue essentially is not VAR. It's the idiots who have to use a micrometer to decide an offside and gut feeling when it comes to a pen.

That's not right.

The Laws need to be adapted to take VAR into consideration. The offside toenail is an obvious one, but if VAR can't reach a definitive decision within, say, 30s then onfield decision stays, would be another.

Has there been any occasion whereby incident happens, VAR looks at it and whilst doing so something big happens and they go back to VAR. If not chaos looms.

Goal line tech only for me.

Scrap the rest of it. 99.99999% of football matches played worldwide do just fine without it.
I have sympathy for that notion.

But first get it working right and see if it does work. And then scrap if it isn't. Aren't fouls going to be included in the future?

I've set up a vote, Dave. See other VAR vote thread.
