VAR

I believe VAR will be used at Forest today.

Be interesting to see what influence it has on the match.

I will be there today supporting our boys. It will be interesting to see how we approach this one with selection and formation.

Clearly it’s going to be a difficult one.

VARs influence will be used to find a key decision in favour of Forest should we stay in the game too long. Just introducing another level of bigger club bias

As we ALWAYS get the world's worst refs every single time we lose, VAR will be welcomed today I'd imagine

I know reffing standards are poor generally but you ought to consider yourselves lucky you don't have VAR to deal with each week.

The only time I thought it may work was after seeing it in the World Cup, even then there were a couple of questionable moments. It just seemed to be used more efficiently and with far less lengthy delays.
Presently it’s killing the spectacle for me.

Isn’t the major issue the operators of the VAR and also the approach they are told to take by the relevant football body?

The EPL, it appears to me, are asking VAR to re-referee games. To make a decision on 50-50 calls which the on field ref has ruled on.

Whereas VAR should simply be used to overrule howlers.

Of course re-refereeing games gives far more opportunity to favour big clubs.

Yep, it’s not good at all in the Premier League.
