The sale to the club seems to have fallen through. This is a shame as it was a vital training facility for local clubs. Anyone know why the club has pulled out?

I knew the club had expressed an interest much earlier this year but weren’t looking to go ahead with a bid. I had no idea that had changed tbh.The sale to the club seems to have fallen through. This is a shame as it was a vital training facility for local clubs. Anyone know why the club has pulled out?
It is possible they’re looking to include even more community facilities as part of the East Stand plans due for publication early 2023 - so perhaps owning Vida/ Play Football doesn’t make that much sense.

Interesting. It’s a shame that - I was hoping those pitches would be made available again for the kids

Does the school still use the gym, gymnasium and sports pitches ? If so it means the whole thing should be ready to open as soon as an operator is found.
