Apart from him being an egomaniac, he’s not doing too badly, he’s probably the richest man on the planet, the economy seems ok despite all the sanctions, Russians are buying huge numbers of luxury cars from the uk via Azerbaijan and he’s spending huge amounts on military.

Loads of them on holiday in Turkey when a few of us went golfing in October…… oh and they were the ones paying for the luxury sun beds etc
Loads of them have also moved to Thailand. We've had many youngish families come and look round my school to send their kids to. It's a pretty pricey private international school so for sure they're not short of a bob or two. The temptation to ask them what they do for a living and their opinion of Putin is overwhelming. But I'd get a bollocking if I did.
Apparently Phuket is overwhelmed with Russian mafia buying up properties and businesses. The local Thai mafia (aka the police in the rest of the world) are not too happy about it.
