Walking Football - don't forget to book

I’ve booked

Another proposed attendee says its now blocked

Not sure if that’s right but it’s too early if so
 
I’ve just managed to book on now, had to fill the whole bloody form in again though, thought it might auto fill once you’d entered a few details
 
I booked on thur, also had to put all details in again , see you all mon ,hopefuuly better numbers this week,would also help if they would let you book up to about 1or2 pm on the day as some might not no if they can make it until the actual day

Not sure why there's a time cutoff at all.
 
Dont understand it myself as when you turn up you could just give them your details on arrival when they take your temp,,i also noticed other teams turning up and no temp check
 
Community Trust don't run Playfootball, Tetley.

That would be the centre's choice of actions. Community Trust have to cover themselves for liability for their own sessions.
It's in the Walking Football Association guidelines as well.
 
Derek ,i understand that but you would of thought the guidelines would also cover the use of venue and other teams that use the facilities
 
Do you any of you walking football players think there would be an issue with me signing up?
I'm 34 and had a bad injury last year which has meant I've had to stop playing normal footy. Was hoping I could try and keep fit playing walking football?
 
Our 35 and over session are always looking for new recruits
We have a fair few in their 40's
Can't think there would be any objections
It's only the competitive stuff the U50's don't qualify for
 
Should be no problem ,but dont think you could book for today as the cut of point is sun afternoon ,so try for next week
 
To be fair, last time I played, I doubt there were any under 50?, & Im approaching 60, but the more the merrier...

Wish this rain would stop...
 
Good game tonight ,10 of us their,but i musnt forget brad de brunye who came on and scored a couple
 
I apologise to the bib team for running out of steam way too early, not sure I'll be able to walk up to bed tonight, but loved it, Tetley rightly pleased with some great stops, & eel still got speed 😉, I was particularly pleased with a couple of defense splitting passes to TAM who rammed the ball home each time.... See everyone next week if I can walk by then😉
 
Great stuff again tonight.

You definitely saw the best side of Brad this week, almost lived up to the (self titled) De Bruyne tag. At least more De Bruyne than Carol Vorderman.
