Has anyone booked for the walking football sessions starting up again on mon 28th,if so how many i have booked my place who else off here,looking forward to it

I've not yet as I have got to take my son to Uni ( pre-booked arrival times only ) and then get back to work

Will be 50/50 for me as to whether I can make it

The 28th September Monday 4.30pm (Over 50s session) is now full (24 maximum).

Still places for 6pm (35+ session) on Monday and the Over 50's Thursday session (Oct 1st).

Just had a text from the Comm Trust.

Only 5 names on the list for Monday 6pm !!!! Sad news. You all need to get on there as no walk-ups will be allowed and get your mates
to sign on as well. This is disappointing given the interest shown over the past few weeks.

What’s with the stupid form ? I’m 55 years old , able bodied and of sound mind, but it won’t let me proceed to checkout without giving the name and address of my parents ( deceased ) , my Guardian or my bleeding carer.

Will probably revisit before Monday but I lost the will to live after I'd filled the next of kin bit in but it wouldn't let me proceed without going back and filling the guardian bit in

The form needs simplifying as its overly complicated

Just put your name down in that section ,i had the same problem ,its because we are using the same form as the one for children, thats what i did

The form will remember you for future bookings (or your computer will). It's a pre-existing set of forms used by all the EFL clubs that run
courses (usually for children). Put in your next of kin as a guardian and it works.

The form for Monday will only be there until Sunday afternoon, as the Trust needs to run the list off first thing Monday to sort out the
admin. for track and trace. I am reliably informed that it is now taking Debit/credit card bookings as well as PayPal.

Sadly, this is the world we now live in. Get used to it folks. It ain't going away.

PS - perhaps a thought and a quick thank you to the Community Trust in putting together covid safe sessions for us to enjoy again.

A LOT of hard work has gone into getting this re-started
