At the Opera House tonight (Friday 7th Oct) the man himself, Sir Michael Morpurgo, will read an abridged version of War Horse: The Concert as part of a 40th anniversary celebration. It will be accompanied by music and songs from the award-winning production. Blackpool hosts some amazing live performances but is not great at promoting them. It costs next to nothing and I should imagine it will be a worthwhile experience. Very few tickets sold so far. Catch it if you can tonight.
