Enjoyed last night's game - as Brett said as a game it was very entertaining. We played football in the right way and if we'd been a bit more clinical could have easily won that game but Barrow are a reminder that in the lower leagues, teams will always go out to defend and in fairness they did that really well.
However, the striking thing for me last night was the player who didn't feature! When you looked at who was either on the bench or not in the squad that was the real story of the night. We didn't have to rely on first teamers and yet played with 11 players who played the 'Critchley' way and gives me great hope for the season.
One or two performances and positions still to consider but am sure the manager will be fully aware of that.
