Watford sack Slaven Bilic

He lasted 6 months so must be up there with one of the longest serving Watford manager in the last 10 years!!

Experts predict that in 5 years time you will never be more than 10 feet away from a former Watford manager.
Only drawing with Nobbers too much to stomach.

On it's own most of the fans actually aren't too fussed about Bilic going and some wanted him out earlier than this.

But again just seems like we've gone for another short term approach in Wilder who has done well in the past but also struggled at Boro early in the season.

I don't think we will reach the play-offs which is the aim so guess we'll be looking for another manager in the summer.

Who then lasts about 3 months!

I mean the general view is that since 2019 the board have recruited badly actually seem to have made a worse appointment each time after sacking someone.

Of course we have Luton flying high with our ex manager who was pretty popular and unlike Bilic many felt was hard done by.

In hindsight surely you should have kept Rob Edwards?
Wilder is a 50/50, had a nightmare at ‘Boro. Think you may be recruiting again in the summer.

Well yes exactly!

Basically the CEO appointed Edwards giving him the big hype then our owner sacked RE and brought in Bilic .

Maybe as many have said they need to look at themselves?

Wilder is only a short term appointment so probably right there.

Apparently, Cathcart has had 17 managers at Watford!
Do wonder whet the players think ?

Maybe they don’t care as still get paid well and in some cases like Cathcart had a good career with us.

Most seem to come and go too but even anyone signed in January has had 2 managers now and probably 3 by August .

Always liked Bilic from his exploits at Croatia, but we need someone who at least as a token gesture, brings through our own players

Every credit to the Watford board if a manager isn’t good enough get rid as soon as no point hanging around.

The club wanted success and Bilic failed to deliver it.

Even in a comfortable mid table position they still potted him.

Compare it to us our board stuck with Appleton far too long even when we were in the relegation zone and failure to act sooner has all but cost us a place in the championship next season.

Well done BSB just wouldn't pot his mate soon enough.

Does the phrase 'manager of the month' just apply to Watford?
'Okay guys whose turn is it this month?' 😜
