Today ends any slither of hope for the play offs, but, let’s be honest we were all dreaming there.

To be where we are now… comfortably safe and with a week ahead where we could do the double over the nobs and t’rovers… it’s been a hell of a season.

Let’s hope the boys can dust themselves down and have a cracking end to the season starting Tuesday night.

A big following at Rovers next Saturday and hopefully spoil their run for the play offs.

Give me this over 4 years in no man’s land any day!

Today was a bar set for where we need to be next season.

Just one look at Peterborough with arguably a bigger budget shows you how much we have achieved and how quickly we have learned this season. I just hope and I trust that these players minds are firmly focused on finishing the season as strongly as we can and not glossy holiday brochures.
 
We bloody can’t moan and I think what many people are forgetting, whilst clearly we had a poor game, it was an entertaining 90 minutes - mistakes helped them and cost us but we had 18 shots to their 17 and they could well be promoted this season!
 
We never gave up, on the day we didn’t get a lot of luck, the NFL tactics of Forest’s CH on Madine we’re a disgrace (not once ut twice in 2 mins) the foul late on Husband should grave been a red a we got a fair handball yellow - Oh and then there was the deliberate elbowin the head on Yates etc etc - what is it with the ‘officials’

Up until today we’ve had a dream of a season and we don’t get enough credit for all our effort
 
We’ve had a fantastic season, and we’ve no right to moan, but I can if I want. Yesterday left me feeling numb.
