My wife parked her car on the Caunce Street/Church Street car park on 15th December last year to attend Shrek at the Winter Gardens with our ten year old grandson. The ticket machine at the car park was problematic but eventually she was able to get a ticket.
Yesterday we received a parking charge/fine notification from Webbeye Limited, who operate the car park, for non payment. There are supporting pictures of her car entering and exiting with time stamps. We then checked our bank account to find that no payment was taken by the machine which issued the ticket. Being six weeks after the event we no longer have the ticket that was issued.
Has anybody else experienced similar with this car park, either that same day or any other time? I am hoping to get more examples to support our appeal as we appear to be getting 'fined' due to their equipment malfunctioning.
