It’s 11.30am here and 4.30am UK.

Absolutely buzzin and gutted not to be at Bloomfield Road today.

Off for a swim now and then for a few beers in the late afternoon early evening, before returning to tune into TTV.

Keeping it simple….and still annoyed the 20/20 clashes with the game - but hey that can wait!!

So what are your plans…..???

Off to work in 20 mins but finish at 11,get changed and off somewhere for a bit of lunch and then hit the Bloomfield and the Armfield and should be pleasantly inebriated by KO but not too much. Get in the ground by 2.45 and sing and shout my head off for the next 2 hours. After the game go somewhere for a celebratory scoop whilst discussing Jerrys hat trick.

Finished my 2-year contract overseas and should be home - except dreadful local admin sees me still stuck in country. Ticket for today been given away, absolutely gutted (had a ticket for Reading as well ….). Solution - round of golf to get my mind off it beforehand, red wine to help calm the nerves at kickoff

Catching the train now and in PLF for breakfast just after 9.

Brew Room 11am. Yorkshire Fisheries. Cask and Tap. Match. Home about 10pm - trains permitting.

Pre derby day drinks last night has left me less than fighting fit and now have barely slept. That said, plans remain intact. Couple at home before heading to the Corner Flag from 1ish.

Come on you tangerine wizards!

Haven't had a beer at the football for years, mainly because I can't seem to behave myself. My passion is times 100 when I'm half cut. Let's hope I can hold it all together today.

Here we go;

Off to close my caravan down in Cumbria for the winter.

Visit my mum and sister at Carleton Cemetery on the way through to Blackpool. Mum would have been nervous today for me and would have said "be careful". My sister would have just been pleased to see me, God love her.

Then into Blackpool, for a bite to eat and perhaps one drink.

Get to the ground and hope to God Shouty let's the atmosphere build on its own and sing for 90+ minutes. I'm sure at some point I'll be praying too 🙏

Come on Blackpool!

Unfortunately living behind enemy lines at the moment
Just watching the golf from USA
Drive over to sunshine Coast, Brekkie in spoons Cleveleys with missus and her family
Pop round to my parents
Then off to bloomfield or excelsior for a couple of pre match looseners
Tea out then fireworks in the prom

A busy day for me unfortunately. Work from 8-1, then a mad dash from there to get to my bowling green because there's still end of season work that needs finishing. Take a change of clothes a d straight to the ground, collapse into seat around 3.01pm as usual. Worried I might miss the first couple of goals.
Have a great day everyone, safe trip to all those travelling in, thoughts with those who can't be there, and let's send them back with a (England) cricket score.

Post a parcel to my mate in Tiverton. Go out and hopefully purchase a new telly and then make the long journey to BR from Bispham.

Pub for 12.
Ground for 2.50.
Pub after game.
Chinese and more beers and some music at home.
Sunday: Quest and rerun of match if we've not lost.
Edited to say: Fuck 12. Setting off for the pub in half an hour.

Trains up the wall today. Had to take slow train, then change at Preston. At least free plug in and WiFi 🍊🍊

Just got to the Waterloo on bill, my dad's gonna meet me at the game cos he doesn't drink - he likes to sit and have a coffee with the woman who does programmes the fuit loop haha. Gonna make my way down at roughly 2.30, hoping that will be enough time.

Expensive for a pint in here by the way... £4.40 for a Stella!!!!????

Sat at home waiting for the obligatory bacon toastie and mug of coffee whilst feeling rather anxious, breathing exercises, then I’ll get changed before my son and myself head to the ground courtesy of my good lady and her little Yaris !
