Well done Annan promoted to Scotish Div 1, first time in their history . These are my fav Scotish team always look for their results. Went to one of their home games few years ago got talking to a bloke turned out to be their chairman invited my mate and me into club house and bought us a beer chatted with him about their club and he wanted to know about the pool. Great little club.

Agreed, a great achievement. I always look out for Kelty Hearts too - the Barry Ferguson connection before he moved to Alloa.

I've watched Kelty Hearts twice this season, 1st time away at Airdrie, they lost 6-1 2nd away at Queen of the South, they lost 4-1, don't think i'm a lucky mascot for them.

Great little story. I think Annan were the first of the new clubs promoted into the top divisions so I've followed their results and it's just over the English border. I follow Arbroath and I'd like to think I would have a similar welcome if I ever got to a game there.

No they went out of business not long after getting all the way to the SPL. Think they had problems with the owner unsurprisingly. Reformed and now playing in a league outside the top divisions.

Owner died and they were instantly skint.
