Well done Ben

He’s doing a fabulous job, worth every penny.

Good start - all of a sudden we have 2 recognised wingers , and good ones , putting the strikers back where they belong. That with Poveda’ space and current form , and a right back , putting Connolly back in his favoured area , looks much more promising
Will we be back in the same boat this time next year though?

I’ll judge him at the end of the season after we have either survived or not.

We must not forget the shocking summer transfer activity may still yet see us down so who are we going to blame then? 🤷‍♂️

What a vomit inducing thread.

The guy's job is to get players in. Something he failed to do in the summer. Hardly worth the love in. He can have that when we are promoted to the Premier League as was the board's long term plan.

And getting Bowler back is a stroke of luck due to the rules. Not some piece of brilliance.

🤣🤫

His job isn’t to get players in. His job is to oversee the day to day running of Blackpool FC and his performance will be measured against much much more than who we sign or not.

The overall financial performance and efforts being made off of the pitch to complete the project SS has set out - and which will define our club for the next 50 years - are likely what BM will be most interested in.

Anyone who thinks BM (the CEO) has full responsibility for transfers is naive, doesn’t understand how businesses, let alone football clubs, operate and really are in no position to be calling for the CEO’s head when his tenure has corresponded with some pretty big success and huge milestones being reached on and off the pitch and with huge undertakings going on behind the scenes.

Really don’t get this bullshit Ben stuff. And you call me negative… The buck stops with the manager and that is where we have been shit.

Dislike Appleton and don't think I'll ever warm to him however that is like saying Gordon Ramsay could come up with a culinary masterpiece with a jar of pilchards, some peanut butter and a glass of cognac. Every manager needs the right ingredients for a successful team and, whether partly down to Appleton or not, Mansford didn't give him that with this squad. The Bullshit comes from some of the toe curling interviews he did over summer.

MAC

He may have made some mistakes and even if he hasn't he'll ultimately be judged on our league position which will suggest that he has but he is taking action to improve to matters.

Please don't don't get me wrong, I'm not putting him up a as a hero but no point in poo pooing everything that he does, Bowler coming back is not just a "stroke of luck", a deal will have had to have been arranged and all parties must have agreed to it.

In Bullsh1t we trust.

I thoroughly enjoyed pilchard mignon in a peanut and cognac jus when I was last at GR's.

Bollocks Well done Ben!!

Sold the wrong player and didn’t replace him.
Bought the wrong player and sold him
Ballsed up numerous deals over summer which were ‘across the line’
Didn’t replace Keogh
Brought his mate in as manager

He is merely correcting his mistakes!!
Bowler was always going to go and he wouldn't have if he didn't want to give Forest a try. Replacing him was always going to be a difficult job when we have to compete with bigger clubs in the Championship. In respect to ballsing up a number of deals ,how the F@ck do you know . Do they invite you in when negotiating contracts and in respect to bringing in his mate for the managers job . Why does that matter ,if he'd have been successful bringing in a friend would have made no difference . Its only because we are struggling at the moment it gives any creadence to a sh@t argument .

You obviously have a personal problem with Ben and it must really be upsetting you that he is getting all the credit for these signings . Why don't you wind your neck in and accept he has done a good job.

Who really cares? It’s what happens on the pitch that matters. Nothing will be different from when we had Critchley and no one was saying anything then. It was simply a bad appointment, nothing more, nothing less.
