You know I had to Google map that one…now I know what you mean…thank goodness it was on the other side of the Mersey as I used to happily jog along the the tow path on the other side..it was a few years ago mind you….last time we were there we were picking wild garlic. Is that Brinksway ?
I was born and lived in Edgeley until we moved to Blackpool when I was 12. We used to be in the Brinksway tunnels all the time as kids. You know I had to Google map that one…now I know what you mean…thank goodness it was on the other side of the Mersey as I used to happily jog along the the tow path on the other side..it was a few years ago mind you….last time we were there we were picking wild garlic.
Well I’m the opposite…kind of…born in Blackpool( 1951) but moved to Stockport in 1977….however my parents and grand parents were all from Stockport…and my grand parents on my Dad’s side had a small corner shop in Edgeley in the late 1950’s early 1960’s.I was born and lived in Edgeley until we moved to Blackpool when I was 12. I used to go to County every game until we moved to Pool. Was always on the Pop side.Well I’m the opposite…kind of…born in Blackpool( 1951) but moved to Stockport in 1977….however my parents and grand parents were all from Stockport…and my grand parents on my Dad’s side had a small corner shop in Edgeley in the late 1950’s early 1960’s.
I really ought to support Stockport ,it would be a darn sight easier, just catch the 313 or train, but once a Seasider always one
Despite all the years I have been here I have never watched a County home game unless we were playing them.I used to go to County every game until we moved to Pool. Was always on the Pop side.
