Well done Seasiders Podcast

Yes it was a good listen . I would be happy if we pushed the boat out, and tempt Wilder on a short term with a big bonus to keep us up . An experienced head who is tactically savvy .

Anybody wanting us to lose in a relegation 6 pointer is a fcuking tool 🔧
How any real fan could want us to lose a game like Saturday I have no idea, anyone who wants a manager to fail must want our club to fail 🤷🏻‍♂️

It was different under the previous ownership, it was a horrible feeling watching the L2 play-off final not really wanting us to win, I was torn that day and ** angry seeing the selfish mushrooms celebrating at Wembley.

I’m guilty as charged, I was at home watching and wanting the Pool to win.
Could never not support us.
And languishing in the bottom division of the Football League is not a place I wanted us to be.

First time I have listened to it and really enjoyed.

Raggy made 2 really good points - the first one is referred to by the OP and the second one was regarding the choice of a potential new manager.

None of us are involved in professional football and have no idea who is available, whose looking to move, who brings issues with them etc..

The club employ a recruitment team and pay them £X thousands of pounds to do the stuff like this - it would be incompetent if they haven't identified potential replacements already and have a short-list drawn up especially after the summer when Critchley left.

Without going over old ground, I still find it staggering that no contingency plan was in place to replace Critchley back then. It was always likely that he would be headhunted after 2 really good seasons at Blackpool and we should have been prepared for that. What if he had become ill and unable to continue? We would have needed a replacement at short notice and were unprepared.

Also, I can't remember who made the comment, but the feeling of deflation when the team was announced. The positive atmosphere of the journey down and a few beers just drained away - at this point, I cursed my friend that had checked the team list and pined for the old days when you had no idea of the team till you went in the ground.

We had 6 attacking players on the pitch but never mustered anything like a decent chance. Looked like a shambles for the first 15 minutes which I suppose is progress of sorts as we were a complete shambles at Cardiff for the first 60 mins.
