As an owner you now have relegation on your hands , thanks to spending nothing on the team in summer and hiring appleton knowing he wasnā€™t liked , then hiring mick half way threw January , knowing couldnā€™t get any signings in , at the same time having a man on wages who has no idea how to run a club in mansford
inept owner who has no idea šŸ¤·šŸ¤¬šŸ¤¬
thank you very much
as a season ticket holder over 30 years I am now very upset seeing us relegated After get promoted to championship, how long this time before pool are back šŸ¤·

itā€™s a shame you couldnā€™t show the same passion as dobbie and us fans do šŸ§”

Nothing to do with having low Championship gates then? You obviously want a sugar daddy rather than a custodian.
Got nothing to do with sugar daddy , itā€™s called giving the team a chance of staying up , nothing was spent šŸ¤¬šŸ¤·

tell you what we will stay in league 1 or 2 becasue our fan base is wank šŸ¤¬ shall we
Bournemouth have done it with similar crowds

Charlie Adam thinks we have an owner who is willing to spend money. What you mean like this season Charlie?

This season has been one massive, embarrassing clusterfuck.

I hope Sadler learns that buying cheap Leagie One players isn't the answer to stay in the Championship. Will he be going for cheap Non League players next season?

Gutted!
We seem to have lost countless games this season yet we weā€™re still in with a chance of staying up
All those points lost and just a couple more wins and weā€™d probably have survived
What a shame!

Relegations happen.

I am happy with the custodianship of the club.

We will be back.

Luton have . Just signed the right players and managed them well

Business Continuity Plan....fail

Nobody could have predicted critchley walking when he did but from there on in where was any form of planning, appleton and mcarthy ffs.

As many have said a complete cluster fcuk and totally avoidable.

Unforgivable really. Its alright planning new stands and training grounds whilst Rome burns but at what point did they smell the fire? Obviously far too late.

Get your heads up and we go again, Dobbie has got us actually playing well. We were unlucky tonight. Forget this season and the two poor appointments. Lesson's will have been learned. Sadler looked visibly upset at the end of the game. Ultimately the two poor appointments are down to the big boss but whoever recommended those two bozo's Appleton and McCarthy needs to be shown the door. UTMP!

Give Mr. Sadler some credit he did spend money on the team in Winter though ā€¦ Donā€™t forget, he took them all on a weeks jolly boys outing for a couple of friendly kickabouts in the sun.

Bollocks.

I would like to reserve special praise for Appleton, McCarthy and those responsible for the summer transfer window šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘šŸ» I doubt it was possible for them to have f*cked up the team more if they tried. Special talent.

Please Mr Sadler can we have a proper appointment next time? We would also like to sign players to strengthen in the right areas particularly in attack. Thank you.

We signed the right players.

Just the wrong managers.
Thereā€™s a bit of that, but we were saying since pre season that we needed a strong spine from top to bottom and all we signed was a bunch of washed up crocks and lightweights. Totally unsuitable for the rigours and physicality of the Championship- in fact, any form of professional football.

One word for that post.

Embarrassing.

Idiotic post!

Despite the passion and fight engendered by Dobbie in the team, tonight once again exposed the flaws we had all season. Firstly, very poor defending with Millwall looking like they would score every time they went forward. Pressing, tracking and challenging was almost non-existent in and around the box and we could have been 3 down in the first twenty minutes. Secondly, giving the ball away and poor passing in midfield. Thirdly, not making enough and taking enough chances up front (despite a more attacking set up). Fourthly, our lack of physical presence in the side. Quite often our players just could not compete for the ball.
The squad just did not have the investment and quality to compete in the championship. And by compete, I mean to comfortably finish in the top half, not scratching around the relegation positions. All of that was not helped, of course, by poor managerial tactics and signing too many players too prone to injury and not match fit (a product of the level of investment). A challenging rebuild is required, both on and off the pitch. Whether we shall have the time resolve and resources available before the start of next season is my concern.

Great Post. We played with real spirit last night, that's all I could take away from it. You need quality, concentration and a degree of nastiness to do well and we didn't have anything like enough of those attributes.

How many injuries are of the same type, ie hamstring injuries? We've had 3 different managers with different training regimes but with the same high amount of injuries.

Might be controversial but . . . maybe the training ground ain't up to scratch?

FFS, how many times, HE DIDNā€™t SAVE THE CUB!
From what Tim Fielding has revealed as to the state of it at the time, Iā€™m pretty sure other interested parties were either total sharks or would have turned away the opportunity once the books were looked at. I think he saved us in all reality, and I level if he didnā€™t heā€™s certainly gone along way to making us operate like a football club rather than a basket case outfit.

FFS , HOW MANY TIMES

Well, we've had the same on for decades without these injury problems. Not that better facilities wouldn't help.
To use a car analogy. When I bought my brand new car it was as good as any other car on the road. For the next 10 years it continued to be reliable if not shiny any more. The next 10 years it was getting problematic and was becoming a bit embarrassing to look at. Even cheaper, newer ones had better, more modern, facilities. The next 10 years it was just a bit of a wreck, totally unfit for the road, things were forever going wrong. It didn't matter that I put a bit of paint here and there the thing was just . . . past its best, not fit for purpose and dangerous!

I just think there's more to it.

Unfortunately I donā€™t think we have but hope Iā€™m proved wrong. Itā€™s a long term exercise if the resources are there.

As it stands SS doesn't have the money for 'Pool to become an established Championship club. I know you lot laugh at us because the Hemmings family put Ā£12-Ā£15million a season just to keep us being a mid-table Championship club (they are hoping that one season things will fall in to place and we have all the luck and we get promoted to the Prem) but at least we are a Championship club.
SS was your saviour to some degree but he either needs to sell the club on to those with money or find a wealthy backer and until then you will never be an established Championship club, you may be a yo-yo club between League 1 and the Championship but you will never get established in the second tier of English football as it stands.
All the best for next season.

As soon as Hong Kong went tits up with the Chinese the writing was on the wall

He just doesn't have enough available funds to own a football club

Sorry but that's the truth...

I'm loving your combined in depth knowledge of the World Markets, Football ownership, Individual's Wealth and finally their desire to spunk it all on a footy club Phil :)

The truth? On here?

Oh ffs that really makes me laugh.

No that's exactly what we don't want.

Hemmings funding of PNE is untenable. Gambling with the family's inheritance. Sooner or later the chickens will come home to roost I'm afraid.

I'd much rather a well run League 1 club than a basket case Championship one thanks.
