Well said Mr Sunak

Some people, through nurture or nature, find themselves in conflict between their birth gender and their prefered gender. These people go through biological, familial and social agonies. They are not a threat to society. If they could have recognition, understanding and acceptance they could relax and be happy without being any threat to anyone. I suggest that those who want to harbour grievances are the real threat.

You strike me as s simplistic thinker who has no depth of reading or understanding on the topic. You seem to be a 2 legs bad, 4 legs good type of Guy. I’m not wanting to be rude or insulting but they are my thoughts

Historical probably not but its currently affecting my young children at school with all sorts of freak shows going on

But to be honest it all depends on if I put a sausage in a microwave and press the fish button by mistake

You know it's still a sausage right
And probably your wife/partner with this Trans nonsense.
My wife has had to regularly walk out of women's only spaces at the hospital she works at with men using her toilets.

She's no wimp but it's not something she should have to go through so when I read men on here defending this shite they haven't a clue.
No one cares what people get up to but when it's affecting children and females the line has been crossed.

Wheres the line on this one - Is it Hetro only or would Mr Sunak be ok if you or i dress up in a lovely frock if we fancied?

What gives you that impression?

The things you type

Nothing substantive then. You won't be surprised to learn that I disagree with you. I am content with what I write and the depth of understanding I have on the matter. Beyond that I have nothing to add.

Is this an admission by @1966_and_all_that that he writes ‘Nothing substantive’ - something we have all known for years 😉🤣

About time someone attempted to put the brakes on this nonsense about being not just the gender you choose but being the object you choose. "Today Matthew I'm going to be a cat or a petrol pump. I haven't decided yet".

It's up to the presiding government to stop this idiocy.

TTJ, I had you down as a libertairian: cut Government interference, allow People the freedom to get on with their own lives, that sort of thing.

I’m all about balance.

Balance the wants and needs of those wishing to transgender against the wants and needs of those it affects. I’m not talking the transphobes, I’m talking the women and girls whose safety is also a birthright that needs full consideration when social spaces are being designed, or redesigned.

It's all well and good that everyone can have the freedom to get on with their own lives, that is so long as that freedom doesn't affect other peoples freedom. Should I decide to be a fog horn I don't thing the neighbours would be too happy.

The whole subject has become unnecessarily complicated.

It seems to me we have blurred the lines between ‘personal identity’ and biological sex and we’ve ended up in a bizarre mess.

You can be who you want to be, but you can’t change biological reality.

I was listening to a Lesbian scientist interviewed recently and she said that Lesbians are being accused of being trans-phobic and prejudiced (in some cases by fellow Lesbians) for saying that they would not date a man with a penis, who identifies as a female lesbian.

It’s beyond bizarre….

I have no idea what any of that means 🤣

It's complicated, but basically there are blokes (with full wedding tackle) who now identify as female lesbians. These blokes are accusing actual lesbians of being transphobic for refusing to have sex with them.
That's just blokes being opportunistic 😂

I wanna have babies and anyone saying I can't is oppressing me. Some 48k identified as trans in the last cencus, that's an awful lot of noise for so few people.

Personally, I don't like the word transphobia, it seems to me a way of trying to dress up reasonable concerns as instead hatred.

A phobia is an irrational fear, it seems to me that the trans fad has caused and is still causing a great deal of harm to a great number of people, particularly women and children, thus I think for almost everyone the fear is entirely justified.

You only have to look at the sheer hatred directed at the likes of Rowling and other women to realize that much of this isn't really about the 3,000 or so genuine sufferers of gender dysphoria across the country, it seems to me that much of the activism is coming from incels and similar, who have found a convenient and socially acceptable way of expressing their hatred of women.

I see Sunak is supporting his Deputy Chair who has said 'There's no such thing as ADHD. It's just bad parenting'.

These are in charge of the country. And still have supporters on here.

It’s funny, but in all fairness you don’t have to have sex with any one you don’t want to. I wouldn’t have sex with a man who used to be a woman, absolutely not.

It’s simply ridiculous to call that transphobia. It’s my personal preference innit.

Phew, I’m still in the game then

I think it's probably more the 'general principle' of being willing to 'theoretically' have sex with a man who identifies as a Lesbian Woman.... So a bit like calling someone racist for ruling out the possibility of ever sleeping with someone based upon their colour for example.

That said, I'd have though that it would be reasonable enough to think that any one of us could decide for ourselves and be a prejudiced as we see fit, when it comes to our choice of sexual partner. FWIW I wouldn't want to sleep with a bloke either, whether he'd had his tackle removed or not.

That’s the whole point really. Attraction is absolutely selective, even amongst straight men and women.

That preference can be race or colour. For some it’s as simple as height or hair colour or age, as examples.
I have my preferences and if I choose to stick to them I bloody well will.

If it's an eel, that's kind of liike a fish sausage to be fair
There are also many fish sausage recipes, esp in Japanese/korean cuisine. Easy to see on the internet. It’s a matter of choice whether you like them. I do, but I wouldn’t shove them down someone mentally else’s though …

For others. it could be something as simple as a hairy chest….

Gotta be the right texture though! 😂😂

That's actually brilliant. It's like people have forgotten that one of the points about being a lesbian is not liking cock.
