Looks like I was right all along.

Critchley completely out of his depth at this level. Some of these performances the last couple of months have been quite frankly disgraceful.

If we don’t act now and get this clown out our club then relegation is almost a certainty next season.

Please Sadler, I can forgive you for false training ground promises and the lack of investment in the team, but for once do the right thing and get a new manager in before it’s too late!!

It's a none game. We are still in the championship not league one.

Without doubt the most cringeworthy post of the year contender, sure we were bobbins today but you can't judge a manager by one or even a few games, you have to judge him on the full season and in that regard its been an outstanding season with the ultimate objective (staying in the Championship) achieved.

Critch is a rookie manager finding his way and I concur some of his decision making has been questionable at times, but I'm sure SS and his fellow directors will consider it "job well done" this season, anyone who thinks different is living in cloud cuckoo land.

Do you have a particular relish for being objectionable? Our players worked their backsides off this season to keep us up. We now need new players to move us on.

Prick.

A very good SEASON by a coach still learning. Should not be defined by today. However, he has got to learn from the obvious names today who showed they aren't good enough.

Today was shocking, as was derby, but it hasn't happened much if at all during real games.

We've been very competitive in games that mattered and easily stayed up, just leaves a bad taste the way it ended, but we won't remember that overall. There were so many changes and players coming back, not ready etc.

You are an absolute idiot, yeah sure we played garbage today and the players look like they have got a two week inclusive holiday in a couple of weeks on their minds but it has been a good season and all we need is a few championship quality players and let’s see where we go from there but in the meantime behave yourself and go back under your rock

Harsh, but you're fully entitled to your opinion, just put your tin hat on.
Firstly - well done to our supporters, you were loud & proud, even at 5-0 .... brilliant all season.
There's never a 'none game'; players play for the club, the shirt, their living and the supporters. Our players never did that today. I never played a single game that I treated it as a 'non game', not even a friendly.
PNE (retch) didn't treat their game today as a 'none game', well beating a team playing for the playoffs.
To not force the Posh keeper into making a single save, when they've conceded 87 goals this season is, however you wish to wrap it up, is embarrassing.
The results since we were safe (barring Brum), has given cause for concerns - all round. Critch & SS will be reflecting on the changes they need to make, to make sure we hit the ground running next season.
Players - enjoy your break players & we'll see some of you in August.

This Critchley love in makes me sick and is exactly the reason why the Oyston’s got away with what they did for 30 years. Until the majority of fans can get out of the ‘little old Blackpool’ mentality and stop just being happy with staying up by the skin of our teeth every season then we will never progress as a club.

Yes we stayed up, but what we have been served up this season in terms of playing style and what I have seen with my own eyes leads me to believe that going forward, if we want to move forward as a club, then a change in manager is needed.

Blackpool Jord is one extreme the people who will barely accept a word of criticism the other. The truth is somewhere in the middle.
Somehow and from somewhere we need to find about 5 players better than what we currently have to get another comfortable mid table finish.
If we don't next year will probably be a season where we are scrapping in the bottom 6.

Surely your last two games is (a) is a shop window for players wanting to stay and progress and (b) signing off in style showing us how next season will look? Turning up and playing utter chite doesn’t Instil confidence from top to bottom.
I bet there’s a few floating fans and ST holders thinking about whether to bother about ST next season and just choose the odd game - especially if there’s an increase on the way.
All in all a bloody good season, but we have been poor at times! Some very strange team selections and tactics.

Shouldn’t we be praising Critch for winning promotion and keeping us in the Championship given Sadler’s “lack of investment”?

This guy has to be a WUM.

I get people having their criticisms of Critch, he is far from perfect. I don't believe anyone truly feel the way of the OP though, surely not.

We stayed up by 23 points this year and were closer to the Playoffs than Relegation 🤣

Yes, we could have done better at times, but Critchley and the board will know that and will continue to improve us.

Convinced you are a Preston fan who is just having fun stirring up trouble on here 🤣

Alright Jord, I'll give you a reasoned response. After all we went through with the Oystons we eventually got an owner who supports Blackpool. He started off with Grayson and it didn't work.

He's now taken a bold step and employed a young man who's never managed before. That man got us promoted to the Championship. this season, that man has kept us in the Championship.

We could look at his weak side and say, time to move on. But that is old speak. That is the usual knee-jerk reaction. How about, under Simon Sadler, we give a man time and the resources that Sadler can afford and say - as fans - 'f-kin' ell Critch this is shit, get with it!...which is how fans behave, and yet, stick with the long term project. We may succeed, we may not but it would be a new way of doing things...ie. have patience. It took a long time to get rid of the Oystons. Give him some slack.

I don't understand all the criticism of Critchley. When he took over we were an average League one side, and after just over two full seasons in charge we have survived comfortably in the championship, arguably one of the toughest leagues in Europe.

Yes, I'm disappointed by the final few games, and today's team selection. However, we must focus on how far we have come and what Critchley has done for us.

Seem to have given up on tactics last couple of games. Looking at the goals we conceded today I can't see our squad being capable of scoring them. We don't get the through balls from midfield and don't seem to have forwards that can make the runs and score goals in open play.
We need to bring some quality in and be in a position where Maxwell, Connelly, Husband, Carey, Anderson, Lavery, Madine is the subs bench not regular first team starters.

We need to focus on the future, admiring past achievements can catch you out, if you don't move forwards in football you sink.

Losing 5-0 by any team is unacceptable, especially for fans who travelled a long way. We’ve a right to be unhappy, even angry, but let’s not forget, we were favourites to go down so the season has been a success. I’m quite sure critch and the board will make improvements over the summer.

If you are only as good as your last game this might be a blessing in disguise when it comes to funding the squad for next season.
