We're a bit of a Joke. 4 games unbeaten and no goals conceded ..

Yet in the real world we will probably lose around 2k on the home attendance today because the football has been that bad.

We have had a very easy start and as one of the favourites, we are closer to mid-table.

Anyone can twist things to suit an argument.

The reality is we have been poor the last two games so today has to be a big improvement. We don’t want to see any of this inverted full back shite and over complicated tactics. Let’s play to our strengths and really go for it today.

Definitely gotta start at least two up front. Forget the wing backs and 5-3-2 hate that formation so boring to watch. Go back to a flat back 4

I agree with a lot of what you say there however let me remind you, that you were front of the queue in the promotion season crying for the managers head and belittling players like Jerry and Kenny who were instrumental in promotion.

Note the areas of concern but don’t hang on them as this team and this manager will get promoted regardless of August or September

2,000 seems ott and it will be a few floating fans will go missing.
Depending on the away following it will still be around 10,500.

Although I don't agree with the booing there does need to be some scrutiny when a manager goes so negative in his selection especially when it's blatantly obvious it's not working.

Why it wasn't changed at H/T is one of lifes great mysteries.......

Just get behind the team

We need a win and hopefully a better performance

That would ease everyone’s B Pressure !

The gate might be down because Orient won't bring many. Certainly won't lose 2,000 home fans.

Looking at the table (which obviously counts for nothing after 3 games), as you suggest, win today and we could be 4th.

It's obvious surely? He gave them some instructions and they changed it. Second half the pressing was better and we created some good chances. One goes in and the pressure from the hard of thinking is much less.

He's not going to change tactics any time soon , that would be an admission that he'd got it wrong.

4 clean sheets, we look more organised and are difficult to beat.

Not all of our football has been easy on the eye and drawing to a limited Port Vale was poor.

It is just 4 games though, new players bedding in, new system and style of play being worked on.

I understand people having concerns but we really do need to just focus on getting behind the players. If we are still poor in another 10 games, fair enough.

People need to chill out. We’ve got solid foundations so we now need to improve the attacking side. I’m sure Critch is aware of this. Jensen Weir will make a big difference and we do need a big man up top as we do go long at times. I thought Lyons would be the star man but he’s possibly not due to playing on the left hand side.

Booing isn’t necessary. We don’t want to come across as an entitled fan base, feeling that it’s our right to be top two. I’m sure we’ll get 3 points today and we can move on.

utter clap trap. Players need time to adjust to one another, they need time to allow NCs style of play to settle down.
Last season we were conceding goals at an alarming rate, so far this season its 0 from three, a huge turnaround which should be applauded except for those with an agenda.
Every team we play will want to just NOT lose against us. Port Vale were celebrating like they'd won the league, Exeter similar. Its how its going to be so we need to adjust things here and there and not be panicking.
2 home games in, 1 win 1 draw and people are booing.......ffs get a grip.

The players who were here last season had their confidence shot to pieces. And Critchley had his confidence shot to pieces at Villa and QPR. The ultra caution is down to that to a large extent. And the fear of fans turning against him. He could help himself today by leaving CJ out and playing Lyons and Husband as wing backs, and getting Weir in from the start, IMO.

What do you do for a living?
I'm taking it you're not a motivational speaker?

It's amazing the number of people who thought that Beesley should be shipped out pre-season, who now think he's the messiah.

Critchley must think we are all idiots if you read that it will take time before we can attack more ,because he wants the defence sorted first. Tell that to Bolton who are destroying everyone they have played so far . Yet last season were not playing in the league above.

Probably more about the team selections and formation
I think that he will face huge criticism if we go for such a defensive formation today at home against a team who have started so badly.
Two up front is a minimum requirement
I wouldn’t hold out much hope, he said in his pre- match it would be the same squad today.☹️

Ah another "I know best" OP who tries to stifle opinion by insults and snide comments.

Quite a few of these types on here. I like to ignore them. They get very cross.

There are definitely some of our fans who need a reality check. Personally I am glad we seem to have sorted out the defence as a priority first. Last season we were matching teams in plenty of games only to give away a soft goal then our heads dropped.

The transfer window is not yet closed. We have now strengthened the midfield so I would expect some strikers and or wingers will be acquired before it closes.

To the doubters I say remember the car crash that was Appleton and his coaching and be thankful we actually have someone who can coach now.
