I see WBA have appointed Valérien Ismaël as their new manager.

I bet Barnsley are delighted with that and I wonder if they'll go backwards next season.

Normally two of the three relegated sides get into the top six but they were all so bad last year I'm not so sure this time around. From what I saw of Barnsley they seemed a bit long ball so hopefully Yates won't be his main target. It goes without saying really but we need to keep hold of Yates.

Good luck trying to get all those mutli millionaires to play in the style he wants. WBA will need a huge rotation of players to adapt, when they have so many average players on big contracts, that won't be easy.

As for Barnsley, succession planning is critical, we also need to prepare for the day Critchley is poached and have tabs on potential future replacements.
