West Ham fans on the receiving end for a change.

Not good wherever it is, but I remember reading about problems at the 1st leg when some West Ham morons attacked friends and families of the Alkmaar team.

I think UEFA are nervous about these chavs running riot at the final.

Hate them, and their barrow boy mentality.

Ok that gives some context as I wondered why Alkmaar fans stormed hospitality

We all remember what grade A bell ends many of them were like at Wembley however AZ fans attacking families in an area exclusive to the players families is just pathetic to say the least.

Hooligans scrapping between themselves is all well and good if you’re in to that type of thing, let them crack on with it, but as we saw recently in our own town sometimes just one punch can be devastating to not only the person who gets punched but to the perpetrator and all the families involved.

Just commented on the BBC website that what goes around comes around.
They wasn't that bothered lobbing things and pissing on women and children in 2012.
The fact that neither incident should have happened may, hopefully, make hammers fans think twice in the future
Absolutely detest West Ham ever since that day. Bully boys smacked out of the heads acting like absolute Neanderthals. Can’t tar all of them with the same brush but there were significant numbers of there fans who were a disgrace that day.
It’s going to be absolute chaos in Prague for the final, Karmas a bitch

You are not wrong. Stadium holds only 20,000. Ridiculous for a UEFA final. Thousands will travel from both clubs without tickets. Will be utter bedlam,

Except it was family and friends including children of the West Ham players and staff that were attacked. David Moyes confirmed that his elderly father was there, though he was, thankfully, ok. They were all sat in a few rows behind the dugouts.

The 900 or so West Ham fans were on the other side of the stadium.

There were though, as said, a couple of West Ham fans in that area, and they did a great job standing their ground to protect the families and friends. There's video online of the two of them. And photos of one of them looking battered and bruised but the two of them prevented injuries to others.

The one WHU lad who was pulled down the steps looks like he took a right hammering 😖

Yes precisely whilst not condoning their actions it would appear to be a retaliation.

Fair play to the fat bloke and his mate. There are obviously some decent West Ham fans. From my experience though all nasty horrible creatures.

The post above yours ☝😵

Just because West Ham have a higher share of dickheads doesn't mean that West Ham players family and friends are fair game to be attacked by a bunch of Dutch virgins with balaclavas on? The most cringeworthy thing I've ever seen on the internet ref football violence. 60 hooligan blokes getting filled in by two half drunk West Ham fans.
