We all knew (including Critch) we needed 22/23 and if he’d have just thrown caution to the wind a bit more I think we could easily have been on 22/23.

Hands up for the defensive record, but 6 goals scored in 10 games is atrocious. Those figures confirm the managers negativity and lack of inspiration.

When it comes to numbers and stats we all know that you can often twist and adapt them to suit your case but the key statistic is that we will probably fall short of what's required because we haven't been potent enough in attack.
Games like Wycombe at home and Stevenage away, there are others, have ultimately cost us.
I put it down to a combination of Critchley and a lack of quality up front.
Can Critchley achieve more next season with more firepower or do we need to replace him Beesley and Lavery?
I'm thinking the latter.

... but it wouldn't have taken Nostradamus or Mystic Meg to predict our strike force this season was never going to do much.
Up until Rhodes arriving we'd scored 2 goals in 5 games and it's no surprise that has continued since this latest injury.
I think only Lavery of the strikers could be off in the summer and so, for me, send Kouassi out on loan and sacrifice one of his midfield places for another striker. We need 3 new faces up front or two old ones and Rhodes IMHO.
