Am I missing something? I really can't see why you would buy a football club. You lose a shed load of money and little reward! What do you think the benefits are?
Owen Oyston might disagree with your analysisAm I missing something? I really can't see why you would buy a football club. You lose a shed load of money and little reward! What do you think the benefits are?
The problem is you can't put a football club in a dry docki can see why someone, specifically a fan, would buy a football club. for me it would be maintaining the connection to the town i grew up in, and what the club meant growing up. I think its like buying a yacht, when on it, with the sun shining and the wind blowing you can have the time of your life, which justifies the extrordinary cost, but in bad weather all you can do is hunker down and hope and wait until it passes.
1) true supporters who care for their community and don’t mind having an expensive hobbyAm I missing something? I really can't see why you would buy a football club. You lose a shed load of money and little reward! What do you think the benefits are?
I dont think so I waited 30 years for The Oystons to bugga off.The rationale thought process is to help the town, build a legacy and get everyone behind you .. sadly the truth is that football fans are the most irrational, knee jerk and impatient people on earth!
very true,The problem is you can't put a football club in a dry dock
You have to stay at sea whilst undertaking repairs
Because Manchester United are one of the very, very few football clubs that have consistently made a return for their investors. So why is a Qatari willing to pay in excess of £5 billion for Manure
They've got to spend their money on something, so why not?So why is a Qatari willing to pay in excess of £5 billion for Manure
3 = the EPL.1) true supporters who care for their community and don’t mind having an expensive hobby
2) egotists who want to raise their profile or own a trophy asset
3) crooks
4) people — almost always American — who think they can make a profit out of it, usually by selling to one of the above (Ipswich at the moment are one example)
How's the Lamborghini running these days?Like buying sports cars when the penis enlargement failed.
