What do you call the EFL Trophy?

You can call it what the hell you like! Being a big, imposing, shiny, impressive piece of silverware, I can't exactly see it taking issue with whatever name you might wish to attach to it - can you!?
 
Sherpa Van, Freight Rover or LDV. We won it twice as the LDV so probably that. We've been out of the bottom 2 divisions for 10 years combined from 2010 so it's not been something we've aspired to do well in until as Best Trip said . . . We get to within touching distance of the twin towers, or big arch as it is now!
 
Well it in whatever name format it is or was has brought some very happy memories and all you who knock the competition I guess won’t be arsed to bother going if we were to get to the final.
we certainly have a better chance of winning it than the FA Cup😉

oh and for us older ones that game at Huddersfield when we won through to the final was an absolute cracker.
 
Rhodes must be sponsored by Papa John's pizzas, he's on the promotional push. I presume they are paying him a lot of dough, topping up his wages. Maybe others will get a slice.

It's now the Bristol Street Motors trophy.

No wonder it doesn't get big sponsorship if people won't say the right company. 🙄

LDV vans, gave me 2 of the best days supporting the mighty. I really do fancy is to win this and gutted I’ll be on a cruise around Norway for the final
 
Slightly off topic, but why do people still call the National League the Conference ? , it’s 9 years since it changed.

How many still think there's a four tier pyramid if you think about it?

There's the Premier League, administered by the FA and the Football League administered by the EFL. Completely separate competitions, but people still talk about 92 teams 30 years plus on.
