What ever happened to Ebola?

It wasn’t long ago that Ebola was going to wipe out the world, then people realised it only effected Africa and the west stopped caring.

now a few white people get the flu and the world shuts down and shuts them self.
They are reacting like our faces are going to melt and limbs drop off.

Look at Italy to see what is happening mate. We are an estimated 4 weeks behind. None of us want to catch it just like we don't owt else. I think the lack of a vaccine or proper treatments is worrying people most

Ebola is still very much an issue in certain countries. However, the WHO and local authorities work together really well to contain it, and stop its spread. I wonder if the UK would accept the same draconian measures, if we didn't we would all die. The me generation has no concept of the real dangers of the world, or the common good.

I am not sure what the rest of the world did to help out in Africa but the UK sent hundreds of NHS staff out there to train and help out and the British army sent out 1,000 troops to build treatment centres in Sierra Leon, plus millions in aid and as Super T E said above the biggest worry for the population is not having a vaccine to treat the virus.
