Everything seems to have gone a bit quiet on that front, surely now is the time to tell us what the fcuk is going on???
You were sat next to me when I asked them for a time frame and it was December last year!!!Agree with all the above After 2 rubbish seasons including one relegation, an owner in court in a foreign land on corruption charges (where have we heard that before?), the council reputedly still only at the stage of compulsory purchases on Henry Street, no spades in the ground at the supposedly agreed new training ground and a fanbase split over the manager and style of football to the point of threats from many to walk away.
Surely any of the points above on their own would have the owner and board scrambling to address the loyal customers never mind all of them together????
The questions you raise are the exact reason why there won't be an open forum in the near future.Agree with all the above After 2 rubbish seasons including one relegation, an owner in court in a foreign land on corruption charges (where have we heard that before?), the council reputedly still only at the stage of compulsory purchases on Henry Street, no spades in the ground at the supposedly agreed new training ground and a fanbase split over the manager and style of football to the point of threats from many to walk away.

The survey I never received. I wouldn’t mind but I’ve given them my email address on more than one occasion when renewing my ST. Yes I did check in spam. We've been asking for this for a while. The club has turned in on itself communication wise (arguably for a few reasons). Surely there would be benefit in talking to the whole fan base sometime soon? The recent survey wasn't up to much. Surely it would be good to hear what people really think and hopefully galvanise some much needed solidarity at what looks like being a seriously tricky time for us.
Yes I've heard a few who didn't receive it. Strange when people get regular marketing emails. Just a glitch I'm sure but not ideal. In any case the survey was pretty superficial and did not seek opinions, instead going for a multiple choice approach on relatively safe ground questions. The survey I never received. Regarding the training ground, planning permission still has to be granted by Blackpool Borough Council.Agree with all the above After 2 rubbish seasons including one relegation, an owner in court in a foreign land on corruption charges (where have we heard that before?), the council reputedly still only at the stage of compulsory purchases on Henry Street, no spades in the ground at the supposedly agreed new training ground and a fanbase split over the manager and style of football to the point of threats from many to walk away.

Oh perhaps it went into the Reform (junk) folder then
I have been told by more than one person that prospective buyers have looked round the club over the last few months. Hopefully the one from Blackpool even though he no longer lives here is as good for us as Simon has been upto now if indeed Simon is looking to sellWhether Sadler is innocent or guilty of the insider trading charges against him I am sure that he and his family will be under immense stress because of it and whatever anyone says, reading the article in The FT yesterday it is clearly a very big deal and not some insignificant event that either never happened or if it did will be resolved by brushing it under the carpet as some seem to think.
There is little chance of any of these meetings in the near future because of the above and because we have had an unsuccessful season with a large percentage of supporters who want Critchley gone, It is the Blackpool way, what should be a time of massive progression after the removal of the vermin has become a damp squib with a feeling of WTF is going on around the club. Now, I have no clue about this, it is just my thoughts but I wouldn't be surprised things get worse next season and I wonder if he is actively looking for a buyer.
Why would he want to put his head above the parapet with supporters who will have too many difficult questions?
It wasn’t one open forum that I was told about, it was several in different locations around the Fylde coastThe questions you raise are the exact reason why there won't be an open forum in the near future.
I could write a very long response to your Reform indoctrination but I doubt you’d believe it. Just keep talking the pills it never ceases to amaze me how people can be manipulated.
I wish I could like this post 100 times.Agree with all the above After 2 rubbish seasons including one relegation, an owner in court in a foreign land on corruption charges (where have we heard that before?), the council reputedly still only at the stage of compulsory purchases on Henry Street, no spades in the ground at the supposedly agreed new training ground and a fanbase split over the manager and style of football to the point of threats from many to walk away.

Really weird post considering who you're making it to...I could write a very long response to your Reform indoctrination but I doubt you’d believe it. Just keep talking the pills it never ceases to amaze me how people can be manipulated.
Once the PP's are granted there will be more chance of movement, not before.I really would;dn't be surprised if the club is sold within the next 2 years, maybe the next 12 months. I think he bought the club with the best of intentions but it was a lot more stress and aggravation than he bargained for, his business is his hedge fund business and he needs to keep his eye on the ball there without being distracted by a football club and all the problems that go along with it.
That about 90% of all football clubs though isn’t it. Owning a football club is a trophy investment for the most partall the negative criticism that comes it's way while losing a lot of money for the privilege.
Blackpool is no different to any other club mate, probably because as fans we all feel as though we have a vested interestI hope SS solves his problems and stays because I do think he has the right intentions with us.
Reading this board I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would want to buy us with all the negative criticism that comes it's way while losing a lot of money for the privilege.
Not for me it won’t be mate with Critchley’s style of boring footballDont worry it will be season ticket renewal time soon .
My point is Mosser is that there will be some fan engagement .Not for me it won’t be mate with Critchley’s style of boring football
That where lies the problem we've too many fans groups and all of them expect the same treatment.Communication from the club is at an all time and has been since Simon got upset when the fans expressed their concerns regarding Appletons reappointment, or maybe he has issues with the 294 fans groups all wanting to dine at the top table whenever there’s an opportunity to 'look at me l was there', just a thought!
