Of course - like Oldham, Crewe, Doncaster, Gillingham, Morecambe, Reading, Scunthorpe, Birmingham, Bradford, Bury, Macclesfield, Southend.....
Like i said most

Signing players and paying wages is a given as is having a fit for purpose training ground

Phil I know you like to play devils advocate and you’re always an entertaining read but if you genuinely don’t appreciate Simon Sadler and Critchley for what they’ve achieved this past few years then I give up.

I'm not sure the Structured Dialogue meetings should be on the list, they're a bit shit.

The Oystons used to have fans' forums with no pre approved nonsense.

We've always signed players. we've always paid wages.

What we haven't always done is pay competitive wages - hence us missing out on so many players that were otherwise keen to sign.
We now have contracts of a decent length not just the standard 1 plus 1 which left us always vulnerable to bids for our best players or players able to walk for nothing when they were vital. I'm thinking of Baps - walked for nothing, Vaughn - walked for nothing, Cathcart, etc. Also remember the £75,000 grand buy out clauses that did for Hoolahan and Gorkks?

I feel like we support a proper club now, not a tinpot shambles.

I thought the O's would only deal with 'official' club affiliated fans groups and not any that considered themselves independent?

Of course i appreciate what they have done

But i think because of all the years of having the Oystons people have kinda forgotten what football owners should be doing

Nah, that was later on, one of Joffrey's twattish ideas, I think only BSA used to go in their bowing and grovelling manner. The Rapist used to do an open one years ago.

Plus we are no longer a joke of a club to the wider public.
Our reputation has improved massively thanks to an owner who sees himself as a custodian.

He hasn’t mortgaged the club like Burnley and other owners have so we can run it now like a real club. If we sell players it won’t fund a mammoth skeleton or a new house, car, a squad full of nieces.. it’ll go into the football coffers (be that players, improving the stadium, staffing or training ground)

We can all be normal football fans again - talking about managers, tactics, signings and beating our Derby rivals

Made us a normal football Club.

Made the Club commercially attractive as a football club aka enhanced his investment.

Made it ripe for a sale, did anyone see him at a match in the 80's to his takeover. Money talks, he could be gone soon.
Not suggesting he's selling, far from it, but he's protected and enhanced his investment. If he can get PP that will add value without much expenditure.

I know your not, Im just saying its a possibility. Maybe he needs to come clean so the numpties on here have ammo for if it happens. 😂😂

I feel like phill has 6 kids and thinks the government should pay for them cus that what they do, much like saddler should pay for phills football.... So does phill ever take financial responsibility for himself.

The government doesn't pay anything towards me or my family

You obviously don't know me and i think your post is bizarre

I will give you the benefit of doubt this time and just put it down to you being simple

Given us our club back and restored our pride in proclaiming - we are Blackpool supporters.

This isn't a "football's got talent" knockout show. Sadler is the owner of our Club and is he doing OK? Yes. Right then, end of...as they say in AVFTT.

Given us our club back and restored our pride in proclaiming - we are Blackpool supporters.
The court and many years of fan boycotts and protests got our club back along with a man from Latvia

Sadler just bought the club (for a cheap price)

To be fair to Phil it’s apparent he’s a grafter and family man.
We disagree on many things, agree on some, but he’s not a work shy loser.
