No wonder we are in so much trouble when the people supposed to be leading things are wasting their time fretting over murals. In a kids asylum.
For the thousandth time, they don't qualify for benefits until they've been here two years. That includes ex pats coming back.Only prick is you you bleeding heart liberal. Refugees are supposed to stay in the first safe country they arrive in. Not pay for an illegal life-threatening, crossing to obtain a better life and sponge off our social system!
Yep the lunatics really have taken over the asylumNo wonder we are in so much trouble when the people supposed to be leading things are wasting their time fretting over murals. In a kids asylum.
What - "he voz only obeying orders"?I doubt jenrick really wanted to do this, it's a sad sign how the tories are so desperate to appeal to a certain mentality.
Why do you think that? He’s a senior minister, who in any case given his past actions should be nowhere near a ministerial position.I doubt jenrick really wanted to do this, it's a sad sign how the tories are so desperate to appeal to a certain mentality.

They have different beliefs and values which mean they won’t integrate nor contribute to our society....
Aah, so applicants for immigration are to blame for the low housing stock in this country. Wow, here was me thinking it was Government apathy and obfuscation.Leaving aside the mural, the asylum seekers do indeed cost.
They are given cash for food, clothes and toiletries. Or a payment card if they’re refused asylum.
They are also housed and have access to the nhs and schools plus free school meals.
Just yesterday there were another 680 that entered. So whilst we need to be empathetic and caring to those that come, there is a problem here. It’s costing vast amounts of money.
We didn’t have housing for the ones we already had in the country. So where are yesterday’s 680 to be housed? And how many hundreds today, tomorrow, next week, ad infinitum?
We should and must do our bit for genuine asylum seekers. But unfortunately our country has become a magnet for economic migrants who cheat their way into the country and take advantage of our hospitality.
You still don't get it do you? If people are coming in as economic migrants without clearance, then their applications will be rejected. But wait, the Government has slowed processing and refuses to open new processing channels. Quelle surprise when they can rely on you to bark every time they blow the whistle.Leaving aside the mural, the asylum seekers do indeed cost.

What we need to do is speed up the processing, by adequately resourcing it, meaning they won't be left in limbo as long, costing us less and either get them working and contributing to the Exchequer, or deporting them.Leaving aside the mural, the asylum seekers do indeed cost.

Apart from blatant misogyny they have been shown to carry out sexual assaults on women and children. That is a fact but the MSM don’t like to report it. Just look what happened in Liverpool. They will put a strain on the national health system not to mention schools. If they had a lot to offer, they would not come here they are just chancers.
They can’t make it in their own country so come here. They are nearly all economical migrants, with no intention of returning home.
Honestly and integrity they will never consider themselves English and so will have no loyalty to this country. We have a lot of homeless people that have paid taxes all their lives, as well as ex servicemen on the streets and you wanna put these up so sad. That is all your opinion and not `fact` as you claim. The NHS is always under strain even if there was no immigration at all. And I`ve really no idea `what happened in Liverpool` or its relevance to the question posed.
But it doesn`t address the question asked, namely what intrinsic `values` do you think we have in this country that the refugees don`t, which will stop them contributing and integrating?
Can you name perhaps three British values that refugees don`t have?
Go on, I`ll make it easier for you and settle for two...

We would spend a few quid but save millions, as you point out, in keeping people in a state of uncertainty.
yepVictorian times?
You mean like 1887? Around then?
I do not play games. We do have a low housing stock and it's the Government that is responsible for that state of affairs.Did I say that?
No. So stop making rubbish up for the sake of your own biased agenda.
We have a very low housing stock and a rapidly growing population. Regardless of who is to blame for that, it doesn’t take away from the reality of the housing issues.
Local authorities have waiting lists for their council accommodation. So the 680 that arrived yesterday are to be housed where?
Do we procure more and more hotels? Is that ultimately what hotels will be for. How many is too many? Or is your idea to let everyone in, fill the hotels and pay for it with higher taxes then build more hotels for more and more of the world’s economic migrants? What is your big idea?
You haven’t got one. You just play games and make silly comments.
Are you suggesting that it is wrong for the country to take in refugees? Are you also suggesting that refugees are, ipso facto, sex offenders? There is no hope for some people just waiting to your property, devalues not to mention all the sexual offences.
That seems to be precisely what he’s saying. Are you suggesting that it is wrong for the country to take in refugees? Are you also suggesting that refugees are, ipso facto, sex offenders?
