Just wondering what the ideal starting eleven would be?
What would your starting eleven be,if everyone was fit?

just spent ten minutes looking at it - changed it five times i cannot decide. apart from grimmy in goal and a back three of casey pennington and hubs, Im loathe to leave out marv but it makes sense at the moment
the rest is too many options, to me that points we have a strength in depth

Nominally 442 but Dembele Weir and Morgan provide a lot of opportunity for in-game flexibility. Weir and Hubby shoo-ins surely. My only doubts are Marv (Gabriel or Connolly) and Morgan. Not sure who can play left mid other than Morgan unless Dembele goes there.

Weird back 3 but not too shabby. And Tharme could come in to a 4.

Yep, difficult choices for NC, but I guess he’ll seldom have that problem with injuries and rotation due to fixture congestion.

The beauty of Critch-ball.
A whole host of interchangeable players where it’s a struggle to pick out the must haves. It does allow to pick on form and even to pick on opposition.
So CJ versus a lower table team doesn’t work as they leave no space. CJ versus a Derby, Wigan, even Portsmouth where they’re expected to attack - yeah why not, space a plenty for Ole time!

I like that.
I’ve still got massive concerns about Gabriel. He’s injury prone and takes a while to get back to form. Then he breaks again.
I just hope we can get him consistent and fit

Do we go back to that problem of no creativity in the centre of Midfield again? Problem is Carey, Virtue and Dougall don't change it either. We've effectively got 5 central midfielders who are carbon copies of each other.
