What's your highlight of the season?

The win v PNE was a highlight in a season I'd put in the bottom 10 since I started watching us in the mid 70's.
And there's a lot of competition from the early 80s.

But I'd say the away win at QPR because we broke a very poor run of results there. We hadn't won there since February 1972. Our first ever league double over them as well iirc.

The 6-1 home win was brilliant, but turned out to be far too late to help us due to poor management selections.

When Appleton and McCarthy got potted though both should never have been taken on and both should have been sacked much sooner than they were...a simply dreadful, awful season littered with errors. Disgraceful that we were relegated without so much as a whimper.

When we were linked with Bishop and Branagan and it looked like Rosenior would be our next manager 🙄

6-1 QPR on the red button which was a few seconds behind Fotmob notifications so knew we'd scored before i saw it!

My highlight will be on Monday night when I can turn my back on this season which has been a cluster fuck. It’s mainly been depressing since Coventry away.
So beating Preston with that jubilant ending wasn't a highlight? We should enjoy every thing we possibly can. Life is too short to wipe out all the good things and wallow in self pity. 😇

A couple of things.

1. CJ v The Nobbers. Sobbing with joy with my brother and having my two boys celebrate.

2. Ridiculously; the 15 minutes of "MM's Tangerine Army" in continuous mode, rather than the "MM Tangerine Army clap clap clap". It just took me back years and years to when I first started going to games.

I wish we could go back to it as the wall of noise it creates is really good.
