It had the smell of bullshit. He liked working with him, he was gutted when he went and he likes to reappoint anyone who has had a whiff of success at Blackpool.

For the reason above, he won’t get shut because unless he brings Neil McDonald back he will be out of options!!
 
Soon as he said all the data said Critch was the right man you knew it was made up - he’d just been sacked twice!!
 
To be fair, Sadler wanted a "Head Coach" that can develope young players that can be sold on and sustain the club financially. He got that and it's not really working so perhaps he needs to revise the essential criteria for his search, next time, to a decent manager, at the level we're at, that can also develope young player or, failing that, with a backroom staff that can develope young players!
 
Last time out SS should have given it Dobbie or brought in someone who plays an attacking brand of football ie Richie Wellens or someone of that ilk who the fans could get behind their team. Critch was always a risk from how he left. His stat men and analysts need sacking too
