Where is Armand these days?

People seriously used to want Chris ** Long to play instead of him. There's a hundred Chris Longs, boring, average footballers who sweat a bit and gratify you because they 'put a shift in' without actually achieving anything.

Armand scored goals, was a brilliant mime artist and had one of the most gloriously idiosyncratic styles of any player I've ever seen.

Loved him.

He scored goals in one season in his whole career. The way some of you go on anyone would think he was a terrific footballer and a prolific goalscorer. I will repeat, he had one good season. He’s gone, never to return, get over it.

You can. You just delete what you want in the quotes but leave the name above it so it's still a quote.
It takes me all my time, at my advanced , non tech savvy age just to post a straightforward reply. I know you wish at times I couldn’t even do that.😜

I think most people would choose to leave a place where they got so little appreciation for scoring goals, or doing their job right, on a regular weekly basis.

I love how he only scored regularly because the whole side was set up for him. How lucky was that, having a team that is set up to provide chances for its main striker?! In any case, he actually created quite a few of his goals himself.

Numbskull central, this place, sometimes.
Well said......they are all experts in their own heads..
Imagine the headlines......20 goal a season striker booed for scoring 20 goals a season .....some fans say he's crap.

I know it was a game that most had mixed feelings about but during the whole NAPM era I don't think I celebrated a goal as much as his at Luton.

I think the fact he's only managed to get into double figures in only two seasons tells its own story.

Never understand how some fans get all giddy because he had one good season.

Since leaving Blackpool he's managed 8 goals in 36 games.
More than Madine then.

Not quite.

Madine got 8 in 25 last season.

He's also managed to get into double figures four times and has played at a higher level than Gonad.
Better than Madine 😂

Cardiff spent £6mill on Madine whilst Gnando hasn't even gone for a transfer fee during his whole career 😅.

That being said, i'm not a Madine fan in the slightest, but I know who I'd rather out the two of them and it certainly isn't Gnando.

25 games in two seasons? Interesting.

I was talking about his time at our club, the one I support. And I have never been giddy about it.

Liked Armand. One of those laconic types of players that divides opinion, but he scored and put in a shift defensively from corners, etc, as @Whenthepoolcomemarchingin says.

That said, we've moved up a division and play a different style - so don't think I'd have him back.

I remember against Peterborough at home there was a Blackpool fan next to me, absolutely steaming, constantly complaining at how shit he was - he went down for a beer and missed Gnando score just before half time. He submerged 5 mins after half time, just as Gnando scored again and sat down rather sheepishly to the whole ground singing the Gnando song.
