Where's those gobby Preston supporters tonight?

just been on their forum using the link provided on here, wish i hadn’t bothered. The biggest bunch of knobs bar none! going on about their allocation and how ‘filthpool (as they call us) will shit it and not turn up for the game, so they may as well give them more. Absolutely deluded they really are

Thing is not all of them in real life are like they are on there.

They seem very bitter some of them on there.

Theres not much fair comment.

For eg I've called out on here when people blindly say Prestons a shithole, no, there is nice areas.

Same with Blackpool though, maybe some dont know as they never go or only go central and read articles that says about the central area, idk.

Theres a lack of balance, tbh same on here at times too, I dont let rivalry get in the way of whats true or not.

If something is shit its shit, if its good it's good.

Yeah it's a bad read, leaves you shaking your head.

Rivalry for some gets them blinded to a more fair picture.

Blackpool does have problems, but also some beautiful coastline, nicer areas, amazing history, great grand buildings, amazing park, tons to do etc.

Why they think we'd 'shit it' and not turn up you say.... bizarre.

We've one of the most rowdy stands going who might overstep but will live for a game like that.

Fact is were close in attendance, they used to bang on how much bigger they are... yes its our first season back up but remember nobbers it wasn't a normal promotion season, no bumper playoff crowd, no bumper Wembley crowd or celebration on the prom which all helps build more fans.

Attendances don't get mentioned as much now. 🙄

They have flirted with playoff places in past seasons and also had some big games against man City etc, that also helps build crowds and being a higher level for longer does too.

In fairness every set of fans have their 'challenging' fans (see the FFS Stop throwing missiles thread) - I am mates with a few lads who are decent fans and we just roll eyes whenever we look at the ridiculous comments. Shame because it's a great atmosphere, local rivalries should be celebrated and not used by the idiots to mock where people live or who they are.
