Which is the best pub/bar in the UK?

Bow Bar, Edinburgh
Pot Still, Glasgow
Bacchus, Newcastle
Blue Bell, York
Station Tap, York
The Grove, Leeds
The Head of Steam, Huddersfield
Roscoe Head, Liverpool
The Albion, Chester
The Bull's Head, Burslem
The Wellington, Birmingham
The Dove, Ipswich
The Fat Cat, Norwich
The Harp, Covent Garden London
Euston Tap, Euston Station London
The Blue Peter, Polperro Cornwall

The Euston Tap is a hole imho. Last time I was there the toilets were overflowing, there was piss tramped throughout the place and it stank. So we left without ordering.

The Grove is currently closed following a fire but there are plans to refurbish and reopen.

There's better pubs in the centre of Birmingham than the Wellington.Try the Good Intent and the Craven Arms .The Old Contempibles is worth a visit plus the Bacchus Bar in the Burlington Arcade as you come out of New Street cross the tram tracks

Bacchus Bar is a bit special 👍

Duck & Drake, Kirkgate, Leeds.

Great beer/live music, by hosts who genuinely care about their punters/beer/business.

The Lower Chequer on the Market Square in Sandbach. In fact, all 40 of the Joules pubs are a bit special. Fantastic ale.

I'm not gonna say it's the best pub but I've always enjoyed the George III in Penmaenpool.

Good food and drink. Nice atmosphere. If it's sunny you can sit out and enjoy the spectacular views and if it's tipping it down it's cosy and warm inside with spectacular views... only put of a window!

Up the junction in Reading. Absolute dive but had a hatch that opened to the kebab shop next door so you could order it in.

A few North Wales ones in stunning locations

Ty Coch Inn, Porthdinllaen near Pwllheli right on the coast

The White Horse LLanfair DC next to the river great on warm sunny days

The Ship Inn Red Wharf Bay, Anglesey overlooking the Bay

Then my local The Jolly Sailor just because it's my local and they do bar tabs with wall to wall sport and a pool table and a honourably mention to the Kite Surf Bar in Rhyl for getting around the ridiculous lockdown rules
