Which league level are our players…

I think that's a bit of an insult to the Sunday alliance....

On a brighter note Connolly would be a great sub in our walking football team on a Wednesday night at Stanley park.

You're right and that was my thought on first reading. However, Critchley's coaching and tactics have been a part of all this and his influence has helped some but harmed others.

and that leaves Carey who could be anything from championship to back to non league oblivion.
 
I remember saying Derby and whoever else it was that CJ's agent said wanted to sign him must be planning for non-league.
So your current assessment of his level could be fairly close since he downed tools about an hour after getting a new deal.
 
We have 4/5 nailed on Championship players with 9/10 who could easily make the step up if played in a system that plays to their strengths.

7/8 who are above average League 1 players.

4/5 who should not be here.
 
We play shit at Wigan after winning 4 out of 5 and we are back to being the world is about to end. You just can't make it up.

I think Pennington could be personally, think he’s solid.

Lyons I deliberated over for a while - showed himself well in that awful side last year, think he could contribute well in the Championship IMO.
 
The interesting there is most people are saying League One for our players but does that mean 'compete in League One' or can do a good job in League One as let's face it at this level it would be very unusual to get a full side of Championship players!
